Bathing is also possible in the lake, about 1.5 km from the centre of Pratovecchio, or in Stia in the Arno River. The village of Pratovecchio is about 500 mt. away. One can go on trips to the Zoo at Poppi, to the pilgrimage church della Verna, to the Hermitage of Camaldoli and to Foreste Casentinesi National Park. Florence and Arezzo are a 50 minutes drive away, Siena 80 minutes. From Arezzo one can travel to Rome by express train in an hour and 5 minutes, making day trips possible.
