About this property

Shoreside Unit

Escape to our stunning oceanfront retreat next to Fox Point Beach in Hubbards, NS! The Shoreside Unit is a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom getaway with a full kitchen and laundry. Relax on the oceanfront patio with a saltwater hot tub, barbecue, and firepit. Enjoy the game room with arcade games and ping pong. Plus, access a fitness center and infrared sauna in a separate building (shared with the adjacent unit). Breathtaking views and unforgettable moments await! 



Please note that we accept up to 5 guests in this unit, but this includes 1 King Bed, 2 twin beds (including one that is a pull out) and one full sofa-bed in the living room. As such, this unit would be most comfortable for 2-4 adults. Please review the information about bedrooms and beds before making your reservation. The doors in the second bedroom (2 twin beds) are pocket doors with frosted glass (we added a curtain) which may not fully keep noise out. 



In the summer, you'll be able to enjoy the view on the patio area and walk back and forth to the beach (200m walk). In the winter, you'll definitely appreciate the in-floor heating, hot tub and sauna! The property is divided into two units (side by side). 



The units are divided by their garages. The Shoreside Unit is located closest to the driveway of the property. Guests also have access to a fitness center (spin bike, rower, dumbbells, barbell, etc.) and infrared sauna in a separate building behind the units (shared with adjacent unit). 



There is no cable. You can use the various apps on the smart television and login to YOUR various accounts: Apple / Itunes, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Bell/Eastlink or other service provider online access, Youtube, Disney +. These are only available if YOU have an account. Don't forget to bring your usernames and passwords with you! 



Amenities state a Pack n Play is available, however it is not readily available in the unit. Please ensure you request it for your stay so we can leave it in the unit you booked. 



The hot tub is a salt-water hot tub from Arctic Spas and is for 4 people. It was replaced in 2025 (we previously had a plug and play hot tub). Specific instructions relating to the hot tub are in the rental book available in the unit.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Check-out before 11am.
Log out of apps on Smart TV.
Turn off interior lights. Leave outside lights on.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.
Do not move the furniture and firepit. No vehicles in the garage, as it is used as a games room.
Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction from the Property.

Seaside retreat

This cottage had everything you could want for a relaxing retreat. Sauna, hot tub, ocean, ping ping, games…repeat. It’s beautifully appointed including helpful labels on all the light switches! That made things so much easier including the responsiveness of the hosts. It’s all the little things that take the stress off so you can really enjoy your vacation time. I didn’t have a vehicle and Uber doesn’t go out that way but the hosts provided some taxi companies and were very helpful. You won’t be disappointed.

Relaxing retreat

Very well-appointed, so many thoughtful details and welcoming touches. Hosts have thought of everything you need. (We wished for a bit more coffee to enjoy a second cup in the morning but that wasn’t a big deal). The location is extra special. Falling asleep to the sound of waves on the shore was a pleasure we hadn’t anticipated.

Relaxing by the Sea

We had a fantastic time enjoying the seaside in this spectacular property. All the amenities we needed were available in the suite. The hosts did an excellent job of providing guidance on attractions and activities to check out in the area. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Fox point beach

Best location ever! Short drive to all popular sights, spend all day exploring and come back to relax by the fire pit with a view! Or take a walk on the beach , and even better, take a swim in the bay right by the house. What can be better!? The whole family including our dog had so much fun! Thank you!

Completely positive experience!

Our stay at this property might be the most positive experience I have had at a vacation rental to date. From the moment of booking to the very end of our visit, I found the owners attentive and genuinely caring. Communication from the owners was detailed with everything I needed to know prior to arrival, and just frequent enough so as to make me feel catered to, but not crowded. The property itself is absolutely lovely. Immaculately clean and beautifully laid out. The outdoor deck has a stunning view of the ocean, and is well equipped with bbq, furniture and hot tub. The attached garage is a fun rec room with ping pong table and arcade games… perfect hang out spot for a group of friends. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with plenty of everything we needed! Extra pillows, plenty of towels, blankets, even robes … all these showed me how thoughtful the owners are at providing a fully catered accommodation for a wonderful vacation.
