Couronne Urbaine holiday lettings

I stayed for four weeks in this apartment, so I have detailed experience of the property. It is brilliantly located a few minutes walk from the Cours Mirabeau and the Old Town, in a quiet location. There is a pleasant sunny balcony/terrace with an open aspect overlooking the parking at the rear of the building.The flat is not brand new and shows a bit of wear in places but is clean and practical and has everything needed for a short or long stay including a washing machine and well-equipped kitchen and air conditioning. There are two small double bedrooms with good sized beds but there is no room for much else apart from a fitted cupboard/wardrobe in each. The shower is good and there is a separate WC. The main living/kitchen area is fairly basic but feels light and roomy despite being not very large. We were never more than two staying at any one time so it was ideal for us - however for four adults the apartment might feel rather small.Karine was a good host and communicated well - any small problems were sorted out quickly. Any negatives I have concern the parking - the apartment building is in a narrow street and access to the parking is via a steep and narrow passageway under the building. It is difficult to avoid scraping the car on the entrance way (there are plenty of paint marks on the walls!) and the angle of descent and ascent is so steep that any vehicle with low ground clearance is likely to touch down. Not recommended for large cars or low sports cars.

The apartment was very central and was within walking distance to all the great restaurants etc. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay there wonderful and was kept spotless. Marieta was a great host and kept us up to date at all times regarding the arrangements for our arrival and departure etc.We would love to return to Aix - En - Provence in the future and stay at the apartment again

My mother (74 years), my sister (44 years) and I (47 years) stayed in this property for one week in September and enjoyed every moment. The house is very lovely and spacious. There are two big terraces with nice views and we liked to eat our breakfast there, as well as having occasional drinks. The house is very nicely furnished, bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and clean. The mattresses in the bedrooms are of very good quality as well as linen, and we slept comfortably. The house is situated in a wealthy and quiet neighbourhood, a short walking distance from the old town and city center. We didn't have a car, and it was easy to move about without one. We enjoyed our time and recommend highly this house for people who want a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The owner is kind and very helpful lady, and she makes you feel like you're a welcome guest in her home.

We had an amazing holiday in this gorgeous house. Living space was perfect, with everything a family could need. That included two coffee machines for adults and Wi-fi for kids! Lots of room indoors and a beautiful garden and pool. The house is five minutes walk (we didn’t bring a car this time) to nearest supermarket and bakery and less than ten to the centre of Aix itself. Overall a perfect home for a perfect holiday. We will return! Thanks
