Great Views! Minutes to Snowmass Village! Large Fire Pit. 5 Bedrooms & 5 Baths!

The perfect setting for the holidays! Views of snow-covered mountains, hot cocoa by the fireplace, holiday music on the mountain or you can even take a sleigh ride! Our Five bedroom and five-bath house has fabulous mountain views. The Snowmass ski lifts are just down the road--about a mile and a half to the new base village. (You can take a $1 per person taxi, walk to the shuttle stop or purchase a parking pass.)

Apres Ski around our large fire pit overlooking Snowmass Mountain.... Relax in the hot tub with a great view..... Roast marshmallows on our large wood burning fire place.....This of course after a fabulous day of skiing just down the road!

The house has an open layout with a comfortable den with a new large L shaped sofa, a TV, a gas fireplace, and views of the ski mountain. The dining area has a new 10 foot solid oak dining table. The living room has three sofas and a WOOD BURNING fireplace. Outside on the stone patio is a hot tub for six, a large built-in grill and a fabulous gas fire pit.

The home has mountain lodge style furnishings and antler chandeliers. Rustic wood floors downstairs, rustic wood in two bedrooms, and three bedrooms with carpet. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and TV. Largest upstairs master bedroom has a Queen bed, office area, separate shower, deep soaking tub and double sinks. Second upstairs bedroom (which has a modern style) has a Queen Bed and a private bath . Third bedroom has twin beds and private bath with tub/shower combo. Fourth bedroom has a King bed and private bath with a shower (and fabulous view!). Fifth bedroom (the only one downstairs) is a larger room with two twins and a bunk bed separated by a half wall. All bathrooms have natural stone and brushed nickel fixtures. Amenities for babies and toddlers includes 2 booster seats and 2 Pack N Play cribs available upon request.

Please note that a 4-wheel drive vehicle is essential. Our home is built into the mountain and has a steep driveway.

Getting around Snowmass Village is easy. You have three options from the house--driving, using the shuttle service, or using 'Dial a Ride' service ($1 per person). First, the Snowmass Village Shuttle (Service Route #8) stops at the corner of Meadow and Sinclair Road which is about a quarter of a mile from the house (half way is up, half way is down.) The shuttle provides service to Snowmass Village. Second, you can get to the slopes with 'Dial a Ride' service for $1 per person; it is a service provided by the City of Snowmass Village and High Mountain Taxi and offers service within Snowmass Village. The service is available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. however, they recommend calling at least thirty minutes before your time of departure. Third, parking passes are available for purchase and allow you to park in the Premium parking spots in the village.

If you wish to ski the other mountains (Highlands, Buttermilk or Aspen Mountain), there is a shuttle or you can drive. There is paid parking (when available) at Buttermilk or Highlands and street parking or the City lot in Aspen. In addition to skiing, there are fabulous restaurants and other activities throughout the area.

Ski vacation

We enjoyed the beautiful home with a wood burning fireplace, the location was excellent to Snowmass Village and Aspen. The hot tub and fire pit was a welcomed relief after a day of skiing. The property owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and checked in to see if we needed anything. We had a party of 8 and there was so much room to spread out and relax. INCREDIBLE VACATION

Oh my goodness, if you or your family are looking to make lifetime memories in the Aspen/Snowmass area look no more. You need to rent this property ASAP. We are a family of 11 from Florida, West Virginia and California and we met at this property for Christmas. The memories made will last a lifetime. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for us all and still places to get away and be alone if needed. The fireplace made the home even cozier than expected. I am looking forward to planning another vacation here.

Homey place with amazing views

This is a big house,with three beautiful bedrooms and two that are not so nice. Each has its bathroom and everything works just fine. It is the best equiped property ever! they have lots of cooking gadgets, provide washing detergent and lots of extras.The living room is spacious and the sofas comfortable. It has amazing views and Susan and Joe are super helpfull. We had a very nice time staying there.The beds are very comfortable!

This place is really more beautiful than depicted, and far and away one of the best stocked vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The communication with the owner was superb, she coordinated getting our prestock purchased, picked up and waiting arrival for us, and had her property manager Joe at the house waiting for us when we arrived. Both Susan and Joe were awesome to deal with. The bedroom set up was perfect, the bedding clean and comfortable, and we lacked for absolutely nothing. Everything you could possibly need, and want was at our fingertips! The owners thought of everything- including the inevitable vacation illness, and had cold medicine and Advil stocked and available as well. Thank you Joe and Susan! What a wonderful trip! We will be back!

Great House for a large family

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property and I highly recommend it. Communication with owner and manager were great from the beginning. House is as described and is very functional for a family ski trip. There is a shuttle stop about a 5 minute walk from house that comes every 15 and 45 minutes after the hour or you need a car to drive to the village area. Owners got us passes to park in the private lots right next to snowmass mall and it worked out perfectly!! The dial a ride took over 30 minutes every time the kids tried to get one and sometimes was too busy to even make a reservation. There are NO uber or lyft drivers working in snowmass village so you are stuck with high mountain taxi with 30+ minute wait times. The house itself is clean and has everything you could ask for.... hot tub, outdoor grill, washer & dryer, fridge stocked with lots of condiments/sauces, kitchen with spices and all the plates and cookware you could want. My daughter left a stuffed animal behind and they were even nice enough to mail it back to us....very kind owners. Overall it was a great stay and we had a wonderful time.

Great Outdoor Space!

Our group of 11 (2 Families with young adult children) very much enjoyed our stay at the Overlook House. There was plenty of sleeping space, and the option to have twins or a king in some rooms was very convenient. We particularly enjoyed spending our evenings around the fire pit and in the hot tub. The view was spectacular! We even saw some wildlife. The house is VERY well stocked, and we got plenty of info on everything we needed to know about the house which made things low stress. It is also in a convenient location to get to all nearby attractions. We spent lots of time in aspen and also went to Glenwood Springs and Maroon Bells. The house was clean and homey as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing Property

Our group absolutely loved this house! Communication with Susan ahead of time was great, and Joe met us the day we arrived to walk us through the property and answer any of our questions. Plenty of space for everyone. Each bedroom had its own bathroom - which was fantastic. The kitchen had everything you could imagine - which was great for us as we made many meals at the house. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after a long day of skiing!

This house is amazing!! The owner was very easy to work with prior to our arrival and accommodating to requests. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful, spacious house with plenty of room for 13. The patio with the grill and hot tub is fantastic. This house is also amazingly well stocked and equipped in the kitchen, with bedding/towels, toiletries, toys, games, movies....we have stayed in several VRBO’s and this is the best equipped house we have ever stayed in. The two parking passes for Snowmass Village make parking to ski super easy! In addition , Joe, the on-site property manager is very available and helpful for anything needed and more than willing to help with any requests. He was very helpful with any questions that we had. I cannot say enough about how great this house is! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Never Disappoints!! And Nice, New Outdoor Upgrades!

My family has been renting this property for about 8 years. Each year, we experience a world class ski trip in a comfortable home just minutes from the slopes. Local property management is always responsive, and we have just as much fun enjoying the view and outdoor hot tub as the slopes. My family had a great stay here. It’s an easy drive to ski, the grocery store and the Snowmass Mall. 10-15 min drive to Aspen. The property manager was very helpful and easy to reach via text. When I couldn’t find a humidifier in the house he was quick to drop one off. The kitchen is fully stocked, and we were able to make breakfast and dinners easily. My only complaint is that the master bath is open at the top and didn’t feel very private. Other than that it was a good fit for our family’s needs.

this was the 6th time we have stayed here and we really enjoyed the large rooms. the kitchen is so well equipped and the dinning room table is good for 10 men. the parking passes allowed us to drive and park at the village next to the lifts. Joe would come by and take care of any little request or need that would arise during the week. it was an easy process to get in and start our vacation. i would highly recommend this house for any group of 5-10. we will be back next year.

We had a couple small issues while there. Management was very prompt and taking care of it. Worked around our schedule. The experience was great. Would definitely recommend. Look to come back in the future . The venue is beautiful. Very well stocked .

This was our third stay in this great home. It was perfect for a family of nine. We especially liked the location and parking passes for Snowmass village. Our only complaint was that two of the TV's were not working. Joe was a help in getting us settled into the house. Thanks for a great place to hold our family vacation again.

We found everything perfect for our family of 12 all the conveniences were used to specially the washer and dryer and hot tub that the young adults used to stargaze from Temp up somewhat during the day during our stay, so the lack of AC was noticeable but not intolerable. Nights were extremely comfortable
