Luxury Family Retreat. Ski-in Ski-Out. Spectacular Mountain Views. Sleeps 12

This beautiful 5,800 sq. ft. ski-in/ski-out home offers 4 bedrooms, a large separate family room with Murphy bed, a den/loft with sleeper sofa and 5 1/2 baths. You can ski-in and ski-out on the private Wood Run Homeowners Trail, which has direct access down to the Snowmass mall, base village, 6-seat and 4-seat chair lifts and gondola. For less advanced skiers, the ski resort's Adams Avenue run is an easy 300-yard walk along the lightly travelled street. After a day on the mountain, enjoy the fantastic mountain views, restful wooded setting and two outdoor hot tubs.

The house is located at 181 Bridge Lane, which is on a well-plowed road about 2 miles up the mountain from Snowmass Base Village. The adjacent Wood Run Homeowners Ski Trail is used for ski-in, ski-out access by some 27 homes located along the Trail. It is maintained in skiing condition by the private Wood Run Ski Association.

The owners have rented this home to satisfied guests for 26 years. The owners' property manager will take care of any problems or issues that arise during a guest's stay.

The dramatic living room on the main level is accented by huge log beams, vaulted ceilings, a marble-walled wood-burning fireplace, ample comfortable seating, a large hi-def TV, and a stereo sound system.

The dining room has a very large round table that seats up to 12. It adjoins a large gourmet kitchen featuring granite counters, Sub-Zero refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, double ovens, large center island and stainless prep table.

Upstairs, there is a family room with a gas fireplace, sleeping area with king Murphy bed and full bath. The upstairs patio offers a large outdoor spa and panoramic views. The home is multi-leveled with elevator access to the main floor.

Fourth excellent year!

This is our fourth time staying at this ski-in/ski-out property. Excellent accommodations for our whole family. Welcoming, easy to function with two young grandchildren. Community space is super and hot tubs were great after a long ski day. You won’t be disappointed!

Our family so enjoyed our spring break ski trip at the Olson's amazing property! Beyond its desirable location to the village, the home is beautiful, immaculate, cozy, and has amazing views of the mountains! Home right on the hill

Nice, large living room and dining area easily accomodated our 7 person extended family. My brother and his family also visited us and it was great to have him park in the driveway and enjoy ski in/ski out. We had 11 people for supper one evening and the accomodations were great. Everyone got a seat at the table. If stairs are a problem, this house would not be the right fit. However, there is a main floor bedroom suite that would suit a person who has trouble with stairs.

Private skiing splendor

This property is spectacular: Views from every room, enormous structural logs in the main house, a kitchen for 12, a dining table for 12, and, oh yes, ski-in and out on Guggenheim trail. Yet, thanks to architecture and the steepness of the mountain, it is private. Equally good are the owner and the property management crew. Have a question? Answered. Have a concern? Addressed. We had a wonderful and definitely repeatable experience.

Spring Skiing

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this huge house above Snowmass. There was so much room for everyone and the hot tub was a nice treat after a long day on the slopes. There are a lot of stairs as I think others have reviewed so take that into consideration before booking. The elevator does make it much easier to bring groceries and luggage up to the main floor. It snowed almost nonstop when we were there, which is great, however it made the private trail all the more difficult resulting in us never using it. Definitely a more advanced run. Adam’s avenue is very close, however, and the mall and village are a short drive down the mountain. The communication was great and Robert provided so much information about the private trail and surrounding areas making everything easy to navigate.

Perfection in Paradise

Very grateful to have selected this large and comfortable, cozy ski house for Christmas week for our extended family. It was perfect. The common spaces like the dining room and two living rooms were especially spacious, warm and cozy gathering spots. The kitchen was equipped for a 4 star chef. We cooked several meals for 14 people, 11 of which stayed there and the house provided more than our needs. Loved the warming mats by the kitchen sink and grill outside- what a touch! We especially appreciated the opportunity to speak with the very kind and thoughtful owners before and during the rental.  They even showed me around before we rented it to ensure we knew how everything worked and where everything was. These communications, in addition to the well placed informational signs, were very helpful.The kids really enjoyed the abundance of games that were strategically placed, and of course, the stunning views from the hottub. It was a skier’s family dreamtrip. Wonderful house, wonderful owners. Highly recommend.

Spring skiing

A lovely property with great Mountain Views. The owner was in touch with us during our stay even though he was out of the country. The house is well stocked with every kitchen item/tool you would need. Bedrooms and beds were all very comfy. My only warning is that all bedrooms except main master are up a very long flight of stairs. If anyone in your group has mobility problems, then this is not the house for you. All in all, a great rental.

Perfect escape!

Third time staying in this slope side home. Property is clean with great room for family togetherness, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook in, plenty of bedding and bathrooms, laundry, etc. Host and property manager are very responsive and interested in your satisfaction. We booked again for next year!

Ski-in, ski-out paradise

Owner and manager were great, transparent, and wonderful to deal with. We were a group of three families with mixed skiing ability adults and tenaged kids. This home is beautiful with a great location stunning views, and ski access points 20 feet from the garage for strong intermediate/advanced skiers and a 5 min level walk down a secluded street for less advanced skiers. There are two beautiful master bedrooms, a smaller (but very comfortable) bedroom with a king bed, an additional bedroom with two twin beds and a loft area with pull down king. Each sleeping area has its own dedicated bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed with all sorts of appliances and a wonderful spice drawer. We have no criticisms of the home but two FYIs. 1) The property is at almost 9000 feet of elevation. Our group are all experienced and comfortable at higher elevations so not a problem for us. Not everyone is comfortable sleeping at higher elevation. The higher elevation means that overnight snow is very common - even in late March- so a 4wheel drive vehicle is highly recommend. Without, it, access could become limited.
