The living room boasts stunning panoramic, sunset views made more cozy with the stone, wood-burning fireplace. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and appliances to ensure you're equally able to treat yourselves to a quiet coffee at the kitchen island or gather everyone together at the dining room table. Surrounded by nature (Forbes State Forest, Laurel Hill State Park, Kooser State Park, and more) this peaceful retreat is just steps away from the Hidden Valley ski slopes, hiking trails, and Highlands golf course, 15 minutes from Seven Springs, and less than an hour from Fallingwater or Ohiopyle. The best outdoor fire pit in Hidden Valley was custom built here with comfortable chairs surrounding it - ready for you to create your own new memories. We look forward to hosting you at our chalet!

Returning guest and I was not disappointed! Such a perfect location and time of year to enjoy the state parks and all the trails! Rooms are so comfortable and all is quiet. The kitchen was perfectly appointed as we cooked all our meals in. The coffee machine and the ability to make espresso made every morning! Fires both inside and the fire pit make for the perfect escape from all. Thank you for making check-in and checkout so easy and sharing your home with us. See you again soon.

Many thanks to our host and family for making this lovely property available. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything my family needed for our winter weekend getaway. We were celebrating a birthday and just wanted family time in front of the fire. The house is in such a beautiful setting, it was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed in, cooked, and enjoyed the fire and lovely view of the woods. There is plenty of nearby fun, and we all thought of how we'd like to return in summer to enjoy the outdoors. The vintage foosball table, antique winter sports equipment decor, and sweet library/loft/music room were such nice touches! The beautiful downstairs bathroom with heated floor was certainly a highlight for all of us ;) on this very cold weekend. The thermostats were easy to control and we found ourselves turning the heat down, so although it was between 8 and 10 degrees outside, the house was very warm and comfortable. This is an ideal house and location for winter sports and outdoor fun! I stayed in touch with the host because of the extreme weather, he was very responsive, provide all the information we needed, and was super gracious! Thanks again!

All was truly perfect from communication, ease of check-in information, bedding and bathrooms (ah, the heated floor!) and the amazingly appointed kitchen complete with espresso/ coffee machine.
