Property was clean and in good shape. There is an amazing amount of space in this place (much more than the two of us really needed!) This was a convenient base location for a variety of activities we did, including hiking at Cloudland, biking on the Riverfront and Greenway trails, hiking at Fiery Gizzard State park, seeing Ruby Falls, visiting Rock City, and enjoying the Tennessee Aquarium. The description of the "4 wheel drive vehicle recommended for making it up the driveway" worried us just a bit, but our front wheel drive Ford Edge did just fine, even in the rain, although it certainly got dirty! Just don't try it in your Corvette!

My family and I rented this house for a family event and enjoyed our stay. I will say to be prepared to be in a remote spot but oh so peaceful. The surprise us was the suite upstairs that my sister-in-law really enjoyed. I enjoyed having my coffee on the porch swing and just enjoying the scenery. This morning I saw two does and a fawn(made my little heart fill with joy). There is a town nearby and the host has a book that gives you the rundown of all the stores and restaurants. If you want to just have some peace this is your spot. Serenity in the woods.
