Breakaway at Roads End
The Space:
Isn't it time for a vacation? Come to beautiful Lincoln City and stay in this family-friendly house. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, with peek-a-boo ocean views and a location within walking distance of the beach, you're sure to have a restful and fun getaway here. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as two different living rooms, this house is large enough to accommodate multiple families or a group of close friends while still allowing everyone enough room to spread out. Walk up the stairs to the main living area, where you'll find a trendy sectional sofa, flatscreen TV, and enormous windows to let in sunshine. Step outside to the full-length deck, where you can glimpse the ocean and breathe in the salty sea air. Use the grill to cook up some dinner, or head back inside to put the full kitchen to use.
With standard appliances including a dishwasher and microwave oven, the kitchen is ready and waiting to help you prepare filling meals in between trips to nearby restaurants. Sit down together at the dining room table, sit on the patio furniture on the deck, or pack up a picnic to enjoy on the beach. Want to set the kids up with their own entertainment or space to play? The downstairs living room has comfortable seating and another flatscreen TV. Throughout the home, you'll enjoy WiFi access, and you'll also have cable TV, a DVD player, board games, and a washer and dryer available for your use. When it's time to rest up for the next day's adventures, up to 10 travelers will sleep well in this home. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second and third rooms, on the lower level, have respective double and queen-size beds. In the final bedroom, you'll find two twin beds, and there's a fold-out futon in the lower-level living room.
What's nearby:
This home is in the desirable Roads End neighborhood at the north side of town, close to Chinook Winds Casino, grocery stores, and restaurants. Stroll less than half a mile to beach access, or take a quick drive up to Roads End State Recreation Site for the easiest access to the sand. Please be aware that on-street parking is not allowed in this neighborhood, and be sure to only park in the four spots provided in the driveway or alongside the left of the house. After you're rested up and ready to take on the day, start with breakfast out at Wildflower Grill or grab a fresh donut at Captain Dan's Pirate Pastry.
Hunt for deals at the outlet mall, play a few games at the casino, then head out to the beach just in time to catch the sunset. There's plenty to do in Lincoln City (including scouring the seven miles of coastline for treasures), but if you're up for a day trip you might like to head about 10 miles south to charming Depoe Bay or 40 miles down to bustling Newport. Of course, thanks to Chinook Winds being a mere two blocks away, you have access to plenty of adventures without having to go quite that far! Great property, it was clean with plenty of room. Perfect location too. The only thing I didn’t like is the 10 digit code needed to get in the door, but that was a minor thing.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about Breakaway at Roads End. It’s great to know the space and location fit your visit—the house was designed to be an easygoing coastal retreat after a day at the beach. Thanks for the note about the 10-digit entry code; we’ll review how to simplify access and make the instructions clearer for future arrivals. We’d love to welcome you back.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. We’re pleased Breakaway at Roads End was a great place for your stay and that the location worked so well for you. Our team enjoyed hosting you and looks forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing coastal getaway.
We had an enjoyable time. Plenty of room for all of us. Wished the pool table was available. But it was equipped with everything we needed.

Teresa, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad check-in and check-out were super easy and that our team was available whenever you needed anything. Making travel simple is exactly what we aim for, and we’d be happy to welcome you back to Breakaway at Roads End.
This house was perfect for our getaway. Perfect size for the 7 of us. Great location, stocked well. Couldnt ask for much more for the affordable price.
Floors could be cleaner… not the best job vacuuming. The biggest issue was the garbage situation. When we arrived at the home, only one half of two cans was available for disposal. There was no pickup during the five nights we were there so it was overflowing by the time we left.

Thank you for staying at Breakaway at Roads End and for the honest feedback. We’re sorry the floor cleaning and the trash situation took away from your visit. We will reinforce vacuuming standards with our housekeeping team and update the arrival checklist so both cans are available. We’ll also confirm pickup timing with our service to prevent overflowing bins in future stays. We appreciate you letting us know and hope to host you again.
Ideal for our family get together. Enjoyed the sun from the deck, played cards, did a nearby hike and some reading. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Comfortable living area.
This was our second time staying at this house. It has a lot of room and great partial views of the ocean. Entry lock using a code is a little tricky to figure out and path to the beach is not easy. We drove to the State Park just a few blocks up the road which had a much easier beach access. Overall a great place.
It was a great price for a large house, our family enjoyed spending the day on the porch and BBQ in the evenings. Plenty of space, clean, and many utensils in the kitchen. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. Communication was WONDERFUL, and I got a response within 15 minutes of texting them.
We had an issue with the heat and the coffee pot. Both of which were corrected as soon as we mentioned it. The beds are all hard. But the price was perfect, so it’s expected that not everything will be great. Perfect size and layout for our group.
Kitchen was missing a few items that would have been helpful while doing normal cooking. BBQ - only half of it would light and work. There was a terrible fish smell in the house that made the first day and a half pretty annoying. We searched the whole house for a hidden fish because the smell was that bad. Would have had a better experience minus that issue.
It worked perfectly for our group. Would stay there again!

Nice clean and inexpensive place to stay
Nice place. A little walk from the beach but it was clean and plenty of space
Not as advertised. First it is in very poor condition and needs a lot of TLC to fix things. Broken tiles in the bathroom, kitchen falling apart with appliances that don’t fully work, a front outside staircase that is pulling away from the house and moves when you walk on it, it just some of the things we encountered. The property was left on and that is so dangerous. The stove didn’t fully work and stopped cooking in the middle of making our food so we couldn’t cook. Thank for we bought a little griddle who wants to rent a house where you can’t cook when it is advertised as fully loaded kitchen. Not enough cooking utensils or pots and pans. When we went to bed the first night we were greeted with brown stains on the sheets. The kind bed master had someone’s socks in the bed from the previous renters. Seems like they didn’t clean at all after the last people. Their licenses and permits in the house for the house are expired, hopefully they have updated copies. There is a nasty fridge in the garage they need to get rid of and a broken pool table. I would not rent this house again without some major TLC being done to it, it was a huge disappointment. The house would be pretty cool if it was in better shape. I let them know about the dirtiness and they came and bought new sheets and towels since the towels had stains too or gross stuff on there. I asked them for some type of refund but they never even wrote back. Next time I hope this house is in better condition.

Amanda, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re very sorry that the home did not provide the comfortable, well-prepared experience you expected, particularly with the condition of the linens and several aspects of the property itself. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention during your stay and are glad we were able to arrange fresh sheets and towels, as well as refund the cleaning fee following your experience. We’re also sorry that the overall condition of the home took away from your enjoyment of the property, and we appreciate the opportunity to review the areas you highlighted with our team.
Loved the bedrooms, washing machine and dryer. A whole lots pots and pans, cups, glasses, plates, blender they had a Safeway like a mile a way and a dollar tree if needed something fast.

Family friendly, nice and neat. great amenities.
The house was easy to find for out of area people. We were delighted with the space and two living rooms. Bathrooms were nice and having 3 was great.Plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking needs.
Had a good weekend stay.Place was clean and everything as was listed. Only issue we had was heater in Living/Dining area blew circuit twice but other then that was very satisfied and will be back. Thank you
Comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen. Would be great during the summer. A bit shabby. Could use a spruce up. Enjoyed our stay...particularly the pool table.

it was a good stay. sadly the pool table was out of commission as we were there for the regional pool tournament. but other than that, a nice quiet place. nice rooms. a lot of deer roaming through the yard. i didnt get to bbq and sit on the nice deck because it was storming almost the whole time but still a very nice relaxing visit
