About this property
Dog-Friendly Bayfront Escape w/ hot tub, decks & beach access
Summary:
Happy Clam Hideaway
The Space:
At the edge of the bay, where coastal trees frame the water and the beach feels like an extension of the backyard, Happy Clam Hideaway invites you to slow down and settle into the rhythm of the Oregon Coast. This dog-friendly, two-bedroom, two-bath waterfront home in Lincoln City is designed for families, friends, outdoor enthusiasts, and remote workers looking for a place that feels both peaceful and connected.
Mornings begin on one of the home’s multiple decks, coffee in hand, watching the tide move through the bay while seals and shorebirds pass by. A hidden path behind the house leads directly to the beach, making spontaneous walks, dog-friendly adventures, and sunset strolls part of everyday life here. It’s easy to wander along the shoreline toward local favorites like Pelican Brewing or explore nearby wetlands and wildlife areas where trails wind through quiet coastal landscapes.
After a day outside - whether spent beachcombing during Lincoln City’s famous glass float season, hiking nearby trails, kite watching on breezy summer afternoons, or spotting migrating whales in winter, return home to unwind in the private hot tub, tucked among greenery for a sense of seclusion. As evening sets in, gather around the outdoor fire pit, grill a simple dinner, or head inside to warm up by the indoor gas fireplace, filling the space with a cozy glow.
Inside, the home feels charming, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Hardwood floors, a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and inviting living spaces make it easy to cook, relax, and reconnect. The loft and spiral staircase add character and create extra spots for reading, board games, or quiet moments away. With reliable WiFi and comfortable seating, it’s just as easy to answer a few emails or work remotely as it is to unplug and enjoy the view.
Evenings often end back outside, slipping into the hot tub beneath a star-filled sky, listening to the water nearby, and feeling the cool coastal air roll in. Fall and winter bring storm watching and moody sunsets over the bay, while spring and summer offer long days, beach fires, festivals, and endless opportunities to explore Lincoln City’s shops, dining, and shoreline just minutes away.
Lincoln City is a true year-round destination, known for seasonal highlights like:
Whale watching (winter and spring migrations)
Lincoln City Kite Festival and summer beach events
Finders Keepers Glass Float Season
With space for up to seven guests and two dogs, Happy Clam Hideaway is a place to gather, unwind, and return to season after season. Whether you’re planning a family beach escape, a friends’ getaway, or a longer coastal stay with room to work and wander, this waterfront retreat offers a rare blend of comfort, nature, and effortless Oregon Coast living.

Stay was wonderful- plenty of amenities and thoughtfulness. Property is in a great location and we look forward to coming back in nicer weather to be able to enjoy everything the house has to offer!
The house had everything we need and more. Nice views and private easy access to the beach was great. Being able to end our day in the hot tub was perfect. The cherry on top for us was being able to bring along our fur baby!
Nice property but a bit worn and needs more thorough cleaning.

Staying here was such a cool experience - being right on Siletz Bay made it feel peaceful and a little bit special the entire time. The big windows and decks gave us nonstop views, and we found ourselves just hanging out and taking it all in. The fire pit was a standout—there’s something about sitting out there at night that made the whole trip feel memorable. The hot tub was also perfect after a long day and made it easy to fully unwind. On top of that, everything was close by, so it was the ideal mix of relaxing and convenient.
Good communication. Great place and great location. House was plenty spacious and in grwat condition. Very clean.Clammed right out rhe back door. Would definitely stay here again.
This place was very quiet, very relaxing. It was a nice place to get away if you’re looking to be away from people on the beach. There’s a few things that I was a little disappointed on there was no garbage disposal, it said there’s a washer and dryer. It was not working. Also, the showerhead in the main bathroom was broken and never fixed. But all in all very clean and very relaxing.

machele, thank you for choosing Happy Clam Hideaway for a quiet beach escape. We're glad the home gave you the peaceful, relaxing experience we aim to provide. We appreciate your notes about the washer/dryer, garbage disposal, and the main showerhead—our maintenance team has been informed and will address those items so future stays are even smoother. We’d love to welcome you back for another restorative visit.
We enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy and the view was amazing. The home is advertised as "beach front." It is actually on Cutler Bay, not the ocean, and the water only comes in at high tide but not much even then. You don't get any waves, just damp sand. The other issue we had was the dryer was broken. We discovered it the first night after washing a load of towels and swimwear and finding we had no way to dry the items. It turned out that they were waiting on a part for the dryer to arrive and it would not be fixed before our stay ended. That was fine, but it would have been great if we had been told this when checking, or even if an out of order sign was placed on the dryer. Other than those two items the home was lovely, clean and welcoming. Lovely neighborhood too!
