About this property
Hip & Historic downtown Vancouver bungalow
Cozy up in our coastal eclectic bungalow for your entrance to the PNW experience. If it's comfy book-reading you desire or a big TV to watch the game, we’ve got you covered. Sip your morning coffee on the front porch then relax into the evening with backyard BBQ and fire table enjoyment. Close to Vancouver’s Main St, dwntwn, waterfront and outdoors galore. You’ll find endless activities keeping you as adventurous as your hearts content. Just a hop across the river to Portland!
We're sea lovers and have made a space that surrounds us with that coastal casual comfy vibe. We hope it gives you that same feeling. You'll be greeted inside with the heart of the home, the living/dining area that flows into the kitchen. Built in 1901, it's a house that has the unique qualities of a historic home: lived in original hard wood floors and small minimalistic styled bedrooms.
Enjoy the updated areas of the house: the kitchen is fully equipped, the washer/dryer is available for use, and a full shower/bath combo. Cadet heaters throughout the house to keep you toasty and a window AC unit will be provided during the warmer months.
Both bedrooms are compact with just enough room for you to rest your head. But you'll do so easily in the queen luxury Casper Memory Foam mattresses (Medium firmness) and smart TVs with black out blinds to let you sleep in 'till your hearts content. USB plugs to keep you connected, ceiling fans in every room to keep you cool, and luggage racks for closet convenience.
Two outdoor areas to enjoy: The front porch that welcomes you, perfect for sipping your morning coffee and the backyard equipped with a seasonal bbq and wood firepit table to enjoy during the warmer months for outdoor relaxing. (Seasonal months include May through September: weather permitted.)
As guests you’ll enter through the main front door and will have the house to yourselves. I stay on my boat when guests are booked. You will have full access to the house except my personal master bedroom in the upper level and the basement that is unfinished and unsafe for guest use.
