3-bedroom Farmhouse at the Base of the Blue Ridge Mountains

With plenty of room for family and friends, the Retreat at Brecht Farm offers a peaceful, newly renovated space to make those special memories. The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom open floor plan space is privately located on a working 20 acre farm at the end of a quiet country road. Situated at the base of the NC mountains, the property is near many activities, restaurants, shopping places, hiking trails (many with beautiful waterfalls), colleges, and more. Because we care about you, you will only find natural fiber bedding, eco-friendly & non-toxic cleaners, and a nearly plastic free kitchen at the Retreat.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We reserve the right to charge a late checkout fee. Leaving late (after 11:00 am) impacts our ability to clean the Retreat for our next guests.

This home was absolutely perfect. I’m still obsessed with how comfortable the master bed was — honestly one of the coziest stays we’ve had. The whole house just felt warm and relaxing from the second we walked in. Everyone loved the ping pong table, and getting visits from June Bug the donkey and the Highland cow made the experience even more special. The only downside was not having enough time to fully enjoy the porch views and soak in all the coziness. We already want to come back, especially for a relaxing girls’ weekend!

The Brecht Farms stay was absolutely perfect! The interior designing is so lovely, and the host has thought of everything! Organic snacks, teas, and coffee, linen sheets, soft lighting, farmhouse kitchen table, and so much more!We visited for my sister’s bachelorette weekend. It was the perfect place to have dinner and dessert together and play some games. In the morning, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the stunning farm and mountain view. The farm animals in the pasture was the icing on the cake! This Stay was certainly dreamy and relaxing!Our host was so welcoming and responded to all of my messages very quickly. I only wished we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the views, amenities, and relaxing atmosphere. We will certainly be hoping to return and visit again! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

We have found the most wonderful family vacation spot!! Beautiful home with beautiful surroundings! The beds were comfy (especially with natural linens washed with fragrance free detergent), the kitchen was well stocked, plenty of wholesome family fun things to do like play games (indoors and out) and the kids really enjoyed the farm animals. Kristen was very attentive and quick in responding to any questions I had including things to go do and see in the surrounding area. Seems like you can get to anywhere in the city of Greenville (museums, theaters, shopping, dining) or hiking mountain waterfall trails within 30ish minutes. What an ideal location and treasure we have found! We will be back as often as we can!!
