We had a great stay! Beds were comfortable, pool was amazing, great location, walking to beach, shops and restaurants. Tons of beach toys, wagon and chairs were a huge plus! Plenty of space for our family of 9. Thanks for hosting us!

Fabulous blue mermaid

Wonderful property- house was very well appointed, LOVED the porch, pool deck, landscaping, pool. Was a little longer walk to the village than I anticipated but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I had an amazing stay at this home! The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything I needed I'm here for work and was looking for certain amenities and this place has it all. The highlight was definitely the pool—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both daytime fun and evening relaxation. The location was great a 6-minute walk to the beach and 5-minute walk to all the local shops and restaurants, The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in super easy. I truly felt at home here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free getaway with the bonus of a great pool! ________________________________________

This is a very nice house in a good location.

We were very pleased with the house. It’s very well laid out with a wonderful porch overlooking the pool. The salt-water pool was great for adults and children. And it was very quiet - even with all the spring-break kids in town. It had plenty of beach equipment including 3 beach carts. Overall we would return to this house.

Siesta key and the Blue Mermaid have our hearts!!

We stayed at The Blue mermaid on Siesta key and we already can’t wait to go back!!! There is just something magical and relaxing about this place! The house itself feels like home to me and my girls! It’s perfectly located with easy walk/bike ride to the village and to several beach accesses! Even though it is January, with the heated pool, my girls got to swim every afternoon/evening! The hosts make sure you have everything you need for a perfect beach vacation! Already planning our next trip!! See you this summer Blue Mermaid!!!

Frustration

Had a lot of things not work properly AC broke which was fixed eventually, microwave didn’t work and the worst part was they didn’t fix the pool heat so we only enjoyed the pool for a few days out of 65 days. Never got a straight answer and had the technician there multiple times. Very disappointed and frustrated with property management company

Nice home BUT…..

I clean houses in my hometown. When I walked in it did not smell freshly cleaned. It smelled like something had been cooked in grease. And it stayed that way for the whole month. I burned a candle everyday. The pool furniture is old and over used. They did order us a pad to cover up dirty lounge chair. There was an old ripped pool chair that the lining was in shreds. There was only 2 lounge chairs and one dirty chaise. We did like the outdoor porch with glass table. They did order 2 lightweight inexpensive netted chairs to sit in pool. Dryer didn’t heat up. They came and fixed it and it heated up occasionally. Main suite carpeting was matted and dirty. A Halloween rug greeted us inside the main entrance in March?! The refrigerator had a strange sour smell. I cleaned it and reset the filters and dumped the ice cubes that had accumulated. Seemed better after that. Lastly and the worst was the roaches in the dishwasher. We got there on a Wednesday and pest control guy came following Monday. We only saw a couple after that but was very disturbing coming from Michigan. The pest control guy was great and explained everything. After that as soon as the cycles were done and still steaming, I took all the dishes out right away—just in case there were any roaches still crawling around. When you pay lots of $ per month, you expect a little better. And the couch as other reviews say has Velcro cushions that do not stay in place. End up sitting on floor.

Wir haben dieses Hus uch wegen des bheizten Pools angemietet, leider war dieser nur in den ersten 2 (von 7) Wochen nuezbar, die Heizung ist ausgefallen und trotzt zahlreiche Nachfragen nicht instand gesetzt worden. Ausserdem wurde in der Beschreibung nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass dieses Haus nicht für ältere und behincerte Menschen nicht geeignet ist (sehr steile Treppe in die oberen Schlafräume)

Comfortable and convenient

This property was well appointed and very conveniently located to both the village and beach. We enjoyed the lovely back porch and pool. Within walking distance to Morton’s when we needed something in a pinch. We will book here again.

Great space - would stay again

Great place with access to everywhere. NO BATHTUB so plan for that. Great bedrooms and bathrooms. Living area and pool area. Couch needs replacement as cushions constantly fall off. Communication was great and we enjoyed ourselves with our family.

Great place near the village

This house was roomy, comfortable, well-maintained, and well-supplied. We usually rent a place directly on the beach, and we were pleased that this location was quite satisfactory. The outdoor areas were pleasant with a variety of shady spots throughout the day. It was a .5 mile walk to the village, and just .3 mile beyond for the closest beach access. Other accesses were available at similar distances. The wagon that was available in the garage made it easy to take beach supplies.

Great Home Great Location
