Our stay at “Tide and Town Retreat” was great. The house & yard are fully renovated in a tasteful style, quite comfortable and so clean with all new furnishings. Perfect for our 5 adults! The kitchen was very well-equipped with any appliance that we needed, as we fixed breakfast each morning before touring. The location was convenient to all our outings including Emerson Point Preserve, seeing the manatees at the Power Plant, gathering at brother’s house in Ellenton, walking the beaches at Anna Maria and dinner party on Long Boat Key. We enjoyed the nice neighborhood and convenience of being able to tour historical houses, shopping at the nearby Publix Grocery store, eating at the Riverside restaurant and fishing out of the local harbor. Our host was always prompt in his responses to any questions that we had. He even came over to help us start the outside firepit. (Actually, we should have read the instructions for a standard start, but it was a good opportunity to meet Brandon in person.) We have already recommended this home to other family members for future visits to the area and will definitely rent again.

We just completely updated the entire home. Over $130,000 in upgrades in 2025. I love the homie feel and the fire pit out back is such a great vibe.
