You can walk straight from your parking spot to your front door without a single stair. Habitat Siete is a true ground-floor condo — first floor, full stop.
No elevator wait, no hauling gear up a stairwell at 11 PM. The beach is 299 steps away with no busy highway to cross. For families with kids, guests with mobility needs, or anyone who’s done the stair shuffle at a beach rental before, the difference is immediate. And then you notice the rest.
The Space:
Habitat Siete is 1,100 square feet of open, well-laid-out living for up to 8 guests. The layout flows from the living room and kitchen straight out to the ground-floor patio — a proper outdoor space for morning coffee, evening wind-downs, or firing up the grill after a beach day (bring your own).
The clearly oversized kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils needed to cook real meals, and the eat-in counter handles breakfast or a quick work session just as easily. The flat-screen Smart TV takes care of movie nights and streaming. Hard floors run throughout — no carpet anywhere, which you will appreciate after coming in sandy.
One honest note: this is an older condo with character, not a fresh remodel. What it is: very very clean, well-maintained, and a better value than you’ll find in most comparable units on the island. If you need brand-new finishes, there are listings for that. If you want clean, first-floor, and well-priced — this is the one.
SLEEPING (Up to 8 Guests)
Master bedroom: Queen bed (en suite full bath)
Guest bedroom: Twin over Full sized bunk bed plus small twin bed
All standard bedding includes crisp, clean white linens and colorful comforters
Living room: sleeper sofa + air bed with pump (please bring your own bedding for both if you plan on using)
We allow up to 8 max which includes infants and babies though 6 is a truly comfortable count
There is the added bonus of an included washer & dryer for your convenience.
THE POOL & OUTDOORS
The pool is unheated but well-maintained and sits in a nice common area at the center of the complex. Right above it is a 2nd floor sundeck — and this is where the teens tend to end up. It’s elevated, it overlooks the pool, and it gives older kids a spot that feels like theirs rather than the family’s.
Adults find reasons to be up there too. Ramp access connects the ground floor to the pool and common area if you don’t want to walk up the half flight of stairs.
The really large ground-floor patio with seating off the living room is its own thing: quieter, more private, ideal for the adults who want to grill dinner and actually hear each other. Bring your own grill and you’ve got a real cookout setup steps from the kitchen as we do not provide one.. South Padre Island also permits charcoal grilling on the public beach, just 299 steps from your front door.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Habitat complex sits on the north end of the island, one block off the Gulf, in one of the more walkable pockets of South Padre:
Kelly’s Irish Pub — cold draft beer and solid bar food, short walk
The Coral Reef — the island’s karaoke institution, 365 nights a year
Clayton’s Beach Bar and Grill and Bar Louie at the Marriott — about 400 yards down the beach
PARKING — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
One off-street parking space is included, and it can fit two small cars parked front-to-back or a golf cart. Standard SUVs, trucks, and larger vehicles will fit but not two of them.. There is no guest overflow parking at the complex.
If you need a second spot, the South Padre Island Convention Center offers free parking, or try tGulf Blvd public street free parking. If you’re traveling with multiple vehicles, please factor this in before booking — it’s the most common thing that can come up.
PETS
Up to two dogs are welcome with an additional $75 fee per pet. Pets must be declared before booking. Pets may not be left alone to bark, be on furniture, and all pets are required to be on leash. Please pick up all pet droppings to avoid an additional fee.
POLICIES
Primary guest must be 23 or older. A signed digital rental agreement and valid photo ID are required before check-in — door codes are not released without both. If you are not 23 please inquire prior to booking as it can be possible with an additional refundable damage deposit,
No smoking, no parties, no exceptions. This is a family-oriented property and is security patrolled.

WRISTBAND FEE — MARCH & EASTER
The complex HOA charges a $25 per person fee (plus tax) for a security wristband during March spring break and Easter week. This is not our fee — we collect it ahead of your arrival but after you book for your convenience.

Please note that there is no public transportation on South Padre Island, so a car or golf cart is the most convenient way to get around. The property is located close to many attractions making it easily accessible.
