Beautiful property with awesome views of the Pacific! Very clean with comfortable beds. There are steps down to the entrance for those with mobility issues.Trinidad is a very nice town with good restaurants. This is a great place to stay!

The house was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It comfortably held a group of five with plenty of space to dine and relax. We especially enjoyed being able to relax in the quiet yard, listening to the ocean, after a day of exploring the Redwood national parks. The owner was easy to contact and was very responsive. We had no concerns with our stay and would enjoy staying here again if we are ever in the area!

The two things that we would have liked to know before renting this property were the fact that there were no screens on the windows and that both bathrooms are down a hallway away from the bedrooms.

The panoramic view of the ocean with whale rock and an absolutely amazing sunset made the price worth it to me all by itself. This place was easy to get to, comfortable, situated close to so many places - Trinidad with several great beaches, like Luffenholtz. Redwoods close by, Sue Meg, Arcata for thriftshops, and Eureka for Victorian architecture, perfect weather every day. Communication was easy, the place was clean. I may not recommend staying there with small kids possibly since you're high above the ocean with no fence. That was not an issue for us. It was perfect and we hope to go back soon.

It sounds like the ocean view and that sunset over Whale Rock stole the show! Having Trinidad, the beaches, redwoods, Sue Meg, Arcata, and Eureka all within reach made it a great base for exploring, while coming back to a clean and comfortable place kept things easy. We also appreciate you mentioning the elevated setting and lack of fencing for families with small children, as that’s a helpful detail for future guests.
