We had a fantastic stay. The lodge itself was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The host was excellent - very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay here again!
We had an amazing time staying at Elk Track Lodge. The communication with the owner was outstanding and the owner did everything they could to make us feel welcome and at home. The cabin is as described, with plenty of space for a large group or family. In particular the kitchen was well equipped and great to cook in!

Thanksgiving Wedding
Great stay in a beautiful part of Washington. The home was more than comfortable for our two families and Joanne went out of her way on Thanksgiving day to make sure we had access. Loved staying here and would again when travels bring me back this way.

Had a Thanksgiving weekend with our adult kids. The kitchen was perfect for several of us to be cooking. Nice house with plenty of space. We had a great weekend.
Great getaway for the guys for offroading and outdoor adventures. The house and property included all the necessities and then some. Great communication with the owner, probably our favorite yet!

HI Tara, Thank you for the great review. It was a delight to have them up. Glad they got to see the wildlife and share their photos with me. Come again soon.
Plenty of space for our family of 7 adults and teenager, with private bedrooms. Loved the giant island and kitchen for spreading out food and activities. Definitely needed 4 wheel drive or chains to get up the snow packed driveway, but the plow left a space to park one of our cars at the street.

Thanks so much for coming. Delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. Sorry to hear about the snow packed driveway. Didn't realize how much it had snowed. Got it cleared right after your stay. Glad you were able to make it. We'd love to have you back. Happy New Year!
Home was clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed the fireplace was not for use. I had selected the cabin based on the fact it had a fireplace listed as one of the amenities. This should be removed from the listing so that others, like myself, don't filter for cabins with fireplace and get this listing. We also brought a movie to watch but had great difficulty with the dvd player. The player is old and didn't have a remote. It took forever to open to put the dvd in and then the movie kept locking up so we gave up. No fire to sit by and no movie to watch was disappointing. We did play board games the first two nights and enjoyed ourselves. It is a great kitchen for a large group. Would recommend you add forks for larger families. We were good as there was only 5 of us but if there was a larger group, silverware would be in short supply. The home was very comfortable space wise and we slept well. We were also in close location to where we wanted to go during the day. Thank you and please adjust your listing so that it doesn't reflect that you have a fireplace.

Hi Evelyn,
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I will be sure to remove the checkmark under fireplace. We used to have it available in people would burn paper which caused Ash to grow in the chimney and blowout into those beautiful pine trees, which became a fire hazard sadly the insurance is three times what it used to be due to the fire danger in that area so we just had to take away the use of the fireplace. unfortunately not everyone uses it properly and carefully like I’m sure you would have.
I am so sorry to hear about the DVD player. It worked fine for me the last time I was there but if it’s time to be replaced, we will definitely do so how disappointing so sorry to hear you couldn’t watch your movie. I know we have over 100 movies up there, but it doesn’t do any good if the player isn’t working properly.
Lastly, I can appreciate your frustration on the forks. It used to be the spoons. I have purchased service for 16 people more than twice and the darn silverware just keeps disappearing. I have no idea what people do with it.
Thank you for coming and staying with us. We do appreciate your business. Thank you for your feedback so we can continue to improve.
Great spot to meet with friends from both East and west sides of the state. Some wear and tear and the place could use new linens and a tv remote. The price was good and the hosts were communicative and helpful! We were disappointed not to be able to use the wood fireplace, otherwise property was as advertised and worked really well for our group. We had a snowy weekend and great area for snowshoeing nearby af Lake Easton or Canon Creek.

The perfect snowy getaway!
Elk Tracks Lodge is fantastic! The home is lovely, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The owner responded quickly and was a delight to work with. The setting is perfect; serene, peaceful, secluded, and just absolutely beautiful when covered in snow. My family went here to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday and she hasn't stopped raving about how wonderful it was, and how the memories we made there will last a lifetime.

Beautiful Winter Wonderland
My family had another fabulous stay at Elk Tracks Lodge! We returned to celebrate my mother's birthday and spend some quality time together. We truly enjoyed our time sledding and playing in the snow in this peaceful and serene setting. Joanne went out of her way to accommodate us, making the check-in process seamless, and our stay stress-free. We couldn't ask for anything more and are already looking forward to our next trip!

Perfect place for a family vacation! Super clean and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need and the stove and over are the best. The beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch and the kids had a great time playing and exploring the property. It’s a 10 minute drive to Easton State park with hiking trails, boat launch, swimming and picnic areas. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lodge with us, we will definitely be coming back.

fully equiped and child friendly
We loved this house for our three families get away with preschoolers and babies. The kitchen was fully equipped to do all sorts of cooking, the house is child friendly with lots of space to run around.
The king beds are quite tall off the ground so if you sleep with your baby you may want to use the other rooms.
The owner was very friendly and easy to reach answering all the requests in a timely manner.
We'll definitely reconsider for our next ski getaway.
We loved our short stay at the cabin, the kitchen was fabulous for anyone that likes to cook. Big island and dinning table to host a large group. It was very clean. It is right off the highway which was great for us.
My only complaint was the water pressure in the master Bath was way too hard, to the point where it hurt. The other bathroom pressure was fine.
Also tried to watch a dvd but could t figure out how to get it to work, since there is no WiFi.

Amazing Lodge!!!
First let me start my saying that the communication from Joanne was great! There is always some stress involved regarding any stay in any place on vacation however, Joanne made things very easy and comforting through her quick responses.
As far as the lodge this place is absolutely amazing! The lodge has an open concept so the extremely large kitchen allowed everyone in the living room to be involved in conversations and the kitchen literally has everything you need to prepare even gourmet meals. Most importantly to me the lodge was extremely clean, warm and the beds were extremely comfortable. All I can say is that my wife, children and the other couple we were with were thoroughly impressed. We have already recommended this lodge to our friends.

Great vacation place for family and friends just one hour away from Seattle
Elk Tracks Lodge is a beautiful place for a winter vacation. The location is very easy to find and the best thing is that it is just an hour away from Seattle. We spent three nights at New Years at the lodge and had wonderful time. The lodge is equipped with everything needed to live and enjoy. The heating system works great and keeps the whole place warm and cozy. During the day we went cross country skiing at Cabin Creak, just 10 minutes away, the pass is 20 min away, very convenient for day activities. You need a Sno-Park pass for parking. There was lots of snow, but the driveway was nice and clean. The owner Joanne was very kind, trying to help with everything that we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. Thank you.

Hi Snejana,
It was a delight to have you and your family come stay. We love being close to both Snoqualmie skiing and Suncadia for all the summer and winter activities from hiking snowshoeing, playing in the pool and slides at Suncadia. One can horseback ride or go to a winery and fabulous restaurant at Suncadia.
Thanks so much for coming. We hope to have you come stay again.

Lovely acreage with ample and pleasant living space
We five adults and 2 toddlers thoroughly enjoyed our super snow special weekend at the Elk Tracks Lodge. The outdoor play met all our expectations. The kitchen supplied all our needs for our fun group eating with the open living space good for kids romping and games on the floor. The four bedrooms exactly met our needs.

About the host
Hosted by Joanne
Born and raised in Seattle we wanted a home to get away to. We wanted someplace that was close enough to go to and use on a regular basis. We wanted somewhere easy to travel to without as much traffic and a different climate zone close to home. I-90 is an easy commute even on a Friday night at 5:00pm.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this place due to the high ceilings, fabulous kitchen, separation of suites and of course location. Easton is the outdoor mecca of Washington. We've got the lakes, mountains, hiking, skiing and snowmobiling.
What makes this property unique
So close to all the activities. Golfing and ice skating at Suncadia just 15 minutes down the road. We love being able to go to Lake Easton and walk right out of the house into the woods. Watching the elk walk by right outside the window is beyond description.
