There was a misunderstanding on the home being pet friendly, within 30 minutes of checking in I received an urgent call from owner who charged a large fee to us for having the dogs. He was rude and wanted us to check out early so they could have extra time to clean. I was only looking for a pet friendly home and am not sure how this happened, he wanted to make sure our dogs did not get on the furniture which they don't at home anyhow. I felt very uncomfortable in the house the entire time as thou we were being watched. The house was decent nothing fancy. The stove and stove top were dirty and several flaws from a broken toilet paper holder to dirty toaster. I also disagreed with there rules for the house that mentioned nothing about pets but also taking your shoes off and putting them in a basket before stepping on the small area rug on front of the TV. We had a really bad experience at this house and were not in the house much at all. We were there to visit my husbands brother and family in Holly Springs. We have had some good experiences with VRBO but will not use this company again.

This guest snuck two large, shedding dogs into our No Pet home. They claimed the dogs don’t go on the furniture and they agreed to a pet fee so we reluctantly allowed them to complete their trip. When we went to clean, there were literal paw prints on our furniture proving their dogs DID go on our furniture. Cleaning up the dog hair that coated everything and neutralizing the dog smell wirh our ozone machine took hours of our time. The guest also bled all over our luxury sheets and did not inform us. They then left us a retaliatory review because they didn‘t like that we held them accountable for sneaking dogs into our home. Never ever would host these guests again and do not recommend them to other hosts. Awful experience!
