Welcome to The Hidden Gem, a spacious 7-bedroom, 10 bed studio building where comfort meets opportunity for groups of all sizes. Mix and match sleeping arrangements that can sleep up to 17 people. Sip coffee in the open living area, challenge friends in the arcade, catch a movie in the theatre, or unwind in the gaming loft—there’s something for everyone. The table seats 12, making meals and celebrations effortless. With three bathrooms (two showers and a shower/tub combo), everyone can get ready at their own pace. It’s the ideal backdrop for family trips, friends’ getaways, or a peaceful retreat designed to help your group relax and recharge. I’m available to answer questions throughout your stay and help you make the most of your time in Springfield Illinois.

This converted commercial space makes an excellent location for a large group to gather. Plenty of parking, plenty of bedrooms and beds, and great spaces for medium gatherings, in our case, a tabletop gaming weekend.We'll certainly book this space again in the future.

Hidden Gem was great - exceeded our expectations for a small group weekend. Place is clean, spacious, comfortable! Enough seating in multiple places for everyone! Hosts were perfect! Already planning a trip back!

Our hostess was wonderful and very accommodating! We were in Springfield for my mother n laws 95th birthday. We were traveling with 10 grandchildren and neede a place to spread out. This place was amazing! The kids already miss it. We will have to plan another trip!

This property really is a hidden gem. It was impeccably clean, well furnished, and full of entertainment. The theater and arcade games were a treat. The host had labeled everything and left kind notes with other relevant information. Small details, like a child-gate at the bottom of the spiral stairs, show that the host had thoroughly thought through what a guest might want during their stay. In and out access was easy with plenty of parking and privacy. We would absolutely stay at this hidden gem again and would recommend it to anyone staying near Springfield with larger parties.

When I purchased the building, the previous tenant closed its doors. I saw an opportunity and potential to transform the space intoa chic, studio-inspired vibe, where families could stay.

With Scheels Sports Complex under construction nearby, I envisioned a welcoming spot where families could stay together, enjoy weekend adventures, and create lasting memories. As a mom and aunt with travel-sports kids, I aimed to craft a relaxing oasis for parents and a fun Rec Room for kids.

Our goal is simple: a space built for game days and getaways, where teammates, cousins, and families can connect and unwind. Welcome to The Hidden Gem!
