This unique property sits at the end of a private lane, surrounded by National Park forest and a year-round creek, offering privacy, solitude, and unspoiled forest views with a glimpse of Wawona Dome (often illuminated by alpenglow in the evenings). What makes this property unique
What makes Camp Duke stand out is how it blends forest privacy with real convenience. Set at the end of a quiet lane and surrounded by National Park forest with a year round creek, it feels peaceful and tucked away while still being just a minute or two from Wawona’s markets, trailheads, and the historic Wawona Hotel.
Instead of a single cabin, Camp Duke is a small mountain compound. The main log cabin offers classic Yosemite charm, the separate studio gives guests a private space with skylights for stargazing, and the spa style bathhouse adds comfort you rarely find in a forest setting. This layout makes it easy to gather together and still enjoy personal space.
Evenings are a highlight here. Guests often relax in the cedar hot tub, watch alpenglow on Wawona Dome, or sit by the fire listening to the creek. Camp Duke is not just a place to stay. It is a place to slow down and truly experience Yosemite.
