The enchanting old town with its shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, the wonderful lakeside promenade, the public lido and the children's playground are just as easy to reach on foot as the pier for the passenger ferry. From here you can explore the lake by boat and take a variety of excursions to the famous Borromean Islands. On the public beach with its spacious lawn (lawn and sand) there is a sailing and surfing school for water sports enthusiasts; Pedal and sailing boats or surfboards can be rented there. An approx. 11 km long circular path leads from the lake into the "Valle Cannobina" and back, past the wonderful natural bathing beaches of the Cannobina river. After an eventful day, you can end the evening comfortably with a glass of wine on one of the two balconies and prepare yourself internally for the next day of your vacation.
