This unique home blends, 19th century charm with modern comforts, offering guests, a one-of-a-kind stay just steps away from the battlefield, museums, restaurants, and shops. This home is more than a place to stay. It’s a part of Gettysburg’s living history. Perfect for your next family getaway field trips or history themed vacation! Please note: One of the best features of our home is its unbeatable location in the heart of town just steps from shopping, dining and local attractions. As with most downtown locations, there is some street noise from traffic and town activity. to help you rest comfortably every room includes sound masking machines to minimize outside noise. If you’re looking for peaceful and quiet in the countryside, this may not be the best fit. We also offer another property just outside of Gettysburg and a peaceful country setting. If that better matches the type of state you were looking for.

In for the weekend with friends and adult kids for our annual meet up. This home was by far the best place we've stayed in Gettysburg over the years. The location was perfect for hitting the downtown area businesses and restaurants. Very clean, well stocked, and the host was always reachable in a short time to answer any questions. Nice after a long day of battlefield hiking to come back and relax in the backyard and shoot a few games of billiards. This may become our go-to stay every time we head back.

This house was the last stop on our trip. We'll it should have been our whole trip. This place is beautiful stunning property. Three floors 2 1/2 baths three king size beeds. Beautiful sitting area out back with a game room. The house is almost smack dab in the heart of the shopping district. Couldn't have been a better place.

The rooms were clean and decorated nicely and simply.The house is very spacious and comfortable.The game room was a big hit and the kids loved it. It very close and in walking distance to the town square and all the shops amd restaurants. I would stay here again for sure!!!

Justin and Tara were great hosts! We stayed for one night as a group of 7 for a friend’s birthday and had a blast. The house is very large and has lots of space to hang out. It also looks recently renovated and was super clean. We had all the essentials needed for a great trip and truly enjoyed how close it was to downtown. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a central location, lots of space, and for bigger groups. Hopefully we can return soon!

I’d highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Gettysburg. The location is fantastic, just a couple blocks to the main circle in downtown Gettysburg filled with restaurants, shops, and bars. Tara and Justin are wonderful hosts and great communicators. They proactively touched base after our arrival to make sure everything was going well. The entire home was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The kitchen is beautiful, the beds were comfortable, are there were plenty of extra towels. The home is also decorated throughout with nice touches such as a portrait of Abraham Lincoln and other civil war art work to set the mood for a visit to Gettysburg. I’d definitely stay again if I return to Gettysburg.

This was an incredible house with shops and restaurants just down the street! We had plenty of space and lots to do in the house that we also wanted to spend time in the rental as it was beautiful! Hosts were communicative, helpful and easy to work with! We would love to stay again!

We loved it! This home is so nice, and I have no complaints. Everything was comfortable and spacious. The game room was perfect for keeping the teens happy. We had everything we needed, and Justin and Tara responded quickly to my messages. Plus the location downtown was so convenient. We would stay there again for sure.

Absolutely beautiful home! There was plenty of parking in back of the garage which is a game room with a pool table, darts and ping pong table. The location was perfect for walking the town. All amenities which are needed for a great stay are provided. Host responds quickly to messages.
