Wir fahren schon seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig nach Föhr und waren in den letzten 20 Jahren in unterschiedlichen Orten, u.a. in Utersum und Borgsum untergebracht.
Oldsum kannten wir nur vom Apfelgarten und waren in diesem Jahr positiv überrascht wie schön dieser Ort auch zum wohnen ist. Wem 10-15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zum Utersumer Strand nicht zu weit weg ist, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
Die Beschreibung der Wohnung entsprach genau dem was wir vorgefunden haben, ausreichend groß für 2 Erw. und 2 Kinder. Der kleine Garten ist sehr gemütlich und wurde regelmäßig gepflegt.
Im unteren Teil befindet sich der Wohnbereich mit einem Gäste WC und im oberen 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Dusch- Bad. Das Eltern Schlafzimmer ist recht klein und der-, oder diejenige die an der Wandseite liegt, besitzt keinen Nachttisch, sowie darf nicht klaustrophobisch veranlagt sein.
Im Bad bestand leider keine Möglichkeit Duschhandtücher aufhängen zu können. In den in Summe zwei kleinen Kleiderschränken im Haus zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten für die mitgebrachte Kleidung.
Direkt vorm Haus befinden sich 3 Parkplätze für die Autos. Fahrräder können im großen, von der Strasse nicht einsehbaren Gemeinschaftsgarten abgestellt werden. Hier ist auch ausreichend Platz z.B. einen Fahrrad Heckträger bis zur Abreise zu lagern.
In Summe war es ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub, das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passte aber nicht. Für über 4000,-€ für 3 Wochen in der Hauptsaison haben wir schon deutlich komfortabler gewohnt. Wir haben dies bewusst schon beim buchen akzeptiert, da wenig Alternativen zu dem Zeitpunkt vorhanden waren. Deswegen ist dieser Punkt nicht negativ zu bewerten und möglicherweise auch nur ein Resultat der Corona Zeit.
