Welcome to Sugar Beach #228. I invite you to enjoy one of the world's finest beaches - Sugar Beach, with its 5 miles of golden soft sand, warm water and beautiful sunsets. This direct oceanfront condominium has been completely updated with all of the high end finishes you deserve for your Maui vacation.
When you open the front door you are greeted to a breathtaking and endless ocean view. Open the wall to wall sliding glass doors, step onto your private lanai and you are captivated by the soothing sound of the waves and the gorgeous sandy beach that is just feet from the tips of your barefoot toes. This is truly everything you dreamed Maui to be.
Sugar Beach #228 has been completely updated. In the kitchen you will find beautiful bamboo cabinets and gorgeous granite countertops, including a large eat-at island. There's lots of cookware and bakeware, mixing bowls and food storage containers, a coffee pot, toaster and a powerful blender for making perfect tropical smoothies.
In the bathroom there is a full-sized tiled shower with pebbled flooring. I also provide a hair dryer (so you have more room in your suitcase for taking home macadamia nuts!) and I make sure you have soap, shampoo and other essentials to get you started.
The lanai and the unit are covered throughout with 18 inch porcelain tiles. Cool on your feet and it won't leave you wondering what the last guy left behind in the carpet you've been walking on with your bare feet!
Sugar Beach #228 is a direct oceanfront unit located on the second floor. When you are inside you feel like you are sitting directly on the ocean. The second floor is ideal because you have the option of just going up and down one flight of stairs if you don't want to wait for an elevator. Unit #228 is also one of a few select units that does not have a side wall blocking your view of the beach from the lanai, allowing for unobstructed views up and down glorious Sugar Beach.
Sugar Beach Resort is centrally located on Maui making it the ideal place to stay for all of your adventures. You can book a whale watching or snorkeling cruise, a helicopter ride, a bike trip down a volcano or just get some local restaurant recommendations - all on site! If you just want to relax and get a tan, Sugar Beach offers miles of sandy beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling, a hot tub and heated swimming pool, a putting green, and lots of poolside and oceanfront lounge chairs.

This condo was everything I had hoped for. It matched the description perfectly. The view from the balcony and distance from there to the ocean is incredible. The gorgeous beach made for excellent strolls each day.Great communication with Karen pre stay and during. Amazing View

This was our first time to Hawaii and we picked a great place to stay - right on the water, stocked with everything you could need and very convenient to local restaurants, with plenty of options for using Uber for transportation. We loved the lanai and had a great time at Dina's Sandwitch shop on the property. There was plenty of excellent beaches to walk and watch all the boats on the water. We would definitely stay here again!

This condo it lovely. You can't beat the location right on the beach. We loved waking up and having coffee on the lanai. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Karen has a cooler, beach towels etc.

Best place to stay in my opinion. You’re right in the middle of Makena and Kaanapali. They provide all cooking necessities, snorkel gear etc. literally the best place you could stay at!

The view was so much better than the listing even shows. The unit was clean, well stocked, and parking was very plentiful. It’s a central & convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants within a short drive. We loved every moment of our stay. Great communication from the host as well!

Relaxing Beachfront

Such a great condo right on the beach Sugar Beach resorts has a concierge like office. We ordered a dinner cruise and couples massage. Owner is so responsive to questions about the area both before and during our stay.

Why they chose this property

The first time I came to Sugar Beach was for my honeymoon 30 years ago. When I walked through the door that very first time, it felt like home. Every time I returned to Maui, I always stayed at Sugar Beach. I am delighted to share it with you, and hope you make as many amazing memories as my family and I have made.
