Moonshine Runners Cabin

Built originally in the 1870's, the restored Moonshine Runners Cabin sits tucked right near downtown Tracy City with easy access to Fiery Gizzard, Dutch Maid Bakery, and the Grundy County Historical Society. The rustic cabin is surrounded by shady trees and native bushes with a waterfall and pond under construction! 50 yards away is the mountain goat trail. Access for biking and walking. Two bikes are available for use

Cynthia is an awesome host!! She did everything to make us comfortable. Be sure to eat at her Dutch Maid bakery too- yummmm. This is our 2nd time staying at her property and definitely will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Traveled to area for a concert at the Caverns. This cabin is convenient to the venue. The hosts are top notch! Cabin is as described. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well. We would definitely return!!

We needed a spot to lay our heads as we escaped Nashville’s bright lights, and this cabin was perfect. Filled with interesting antiques and old furnishings, it had the rustic cabin feel we were looking for. Shower was great, and beds were comfortable. Lots of amenities were available if we had needed them. Very clean with linens that smelled and felt fresh. Thanks for a great stay!

Cynthia was an amazing, responsive host and her cabin was just the cutest! We needed a spot to stay on our drive home from Florida and booked this last minute. It was clean, spacious and had everything you could think of. We were kept extremely warm by the fire and gas heating unit even in the midst of this brutal winter! We couldn’t make it to her bakery before it closed so she left us several treats which was so kind and SO delicious! Hank’s corner grille was perfect for dinner. Much better than a hotel and can’t wait to stop here again!
