Welcome to our beautifully restored 1950s mid-century home, where vintage charm meets modern comfort. Thoughtfully designed for families, couples, and small groups, this inviting retreat offers everything you need to relax and enjoy your time in Melbourne.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests and features:

Primary suite with a king bed and private en-suite bathroom.
Guest bedroom with a queen bed.
Bunk room with a queen bed and twin top bunk, Two full bathrooms. Original terrazzo floors keeping the home cool year round with Central heating and air conditioning.
Enjoy Florida living in your private screened outdoor space, featuring a screened-in saltwater pool (not heated), a spacious patio for dining or relaxing, and home is on a large corner lot with a front tree swing.
Located just one mile from Melbourne Orlando International Airport, you'll occasionally see planes overhead and hear trains passing nearby, adding to the character of this established neighborhood.

One of the area's most memorable experiences is watching rocket launches, many of which can be seen right from the backyard or pool.

The host was great with communication! Property was next to a lot in a little amount of commute. I will say, the only thing that wasn’t the greatest that wasn’t in the listing is the train right next to it. It got so loud, and it happening every hour. You can hear the train go by and it woke us up a number of times. Other than that, everything was great!

We are so glad you enjoyed our home and thank you for the kind words you sent us after your checked in. We put a lot of work and love into preparing and designing it to be a short term rental and are so sorry that details of the train were missed in the listing. Our home is new to VRBO and I am still working out the kinks in my listing descriptions to provide all of the details. I will be sure to review and make sure it is more clearly noted that there is a nearby train track. Melbourne Florida does have a lot of trains due to its development around the train systems in the state. :) I’m sorry that you felt we deserved a 4 star review for that for our ultimate goal is to provide a 5 star stay for our guests and we will be sure to do better in the future.

We lived in this home for two years while renovating it and fell in love with the area along the way. We designed it to be the ideal Melbourne getaway, with a central location minutes from downtown, the historic district, the beaches, the airport, and a small neighborhood park within walking distance.

What makes this property unique

Situated on a corner lot, this home offers an abundance of outdoor space rarely found in the area. Guests can enjoy a private backyard with a fenced-in grill area and a screened-in patio enclosing the pool and expansive patio. The home’s retro feel adds to its charm, creating a classic Florida atmosphere that makes your stay both memorable and relaxing.
