This cabin offers true seclusion, just minutes from nearby towns of Bath, Brunswick, and Wiscasset where you can enjoy local shops, restaurants, and pubs.
The cabin enjoys water frontage on Cork Cove where the Kennebeck River meets the Eastern River.
**The Space:**
- **Bedrooms/Baths: 2 bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen bed), a full bathroom with a shower and a half bath (toilet and sink). There is also an open loft area on the second floor that overlooks the living room that is equipped with a trundle bed that sleeps two children. This home sleeps 4 people comfortably and can accommodate up to 6 people. Please note that there is only 1 full bath in the home. The home is approximately 1300 sf. There is air conditioning only in the two bedrooms.
- **Living Area:** An open-concept living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area that is filled with natural light, featuring large windows that overlook the river.
- **Outdoor Space:** Step outside to your private deck where you can savor your morning coffee or enjoy a meal while soaking in the views. Cozy up at the fire pit while watching the stunning sunsets and making s’mores!
Take a scenic drive to explore several of Maine’s popular gems including Popham Beach (40 min), Boothbay Harbor (30 min), Portland (45 min), or stay local to enjoy an authentic Maine lobster roll at the famous Red’s Eats!
Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, our cabin is the ideal base for your Maine vacation!
***Other things to note
The cabin enjoys water frontage on Cork Cove where the Kennebeck River meets the Eastern River. The river can be accessed by the property, however, please note that the access is via a hill that slopes downward from the cabin.
It should also be noted that the river is tidal. There are regular fluctuations in water levels with incoming and outgoing tides. Plan accordingly if you venture out or else you may find yourself dragging your kayak through the mud!
Our cabin nestled in the woods offers a unique experience with abundant wildlife right outside your door (and the rare wildlife guest inside!), adding to the charm of your stay!
Winter in Maine can be unpredictable (possible power outages and icy roads) so we want to give you a heads up that while the weather and conditions during your stay may not be ideal, once you arrive at the cabin, we’re confident that you’ll fall in love with the cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We just want you to be prepared for anything! **Four wheel drive is recommended for winter stays as the long driveway has a slight slope
Previously a “Guest Favorite” on another site (new owners hence a new listing) with many glowing guest reviews!
We allow a maximum of 6 guests.
There is a Ring Camera at the front door for security purposes (no audio).
