We had a great stay at this home! Our family was visiting the Seattle area for a couple of nights and when we saw this listing we were very intrigued by the idea of a property close enough to Seattle/Bellevue but with great access to nature and outdoor activities. Rachel was easy to communicate with, the house was recently remodeled with very tasteful updates. The location is amazing. Downtown Issaquah is cute and close, and it’s easy to get to Seattle and Bellevue. We’d love to come back during the summer since this property has such great access to outdoor experiences including hiking/walking trails right out the back door! The house was very comfortable and I used the yoga space for morning stretching. My son really wanted to go snowboarding which would have been easy with close proximity to the passes but we didn’t have time. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Rachel for a great stay.

I am from the PNW. I love living in the forest, it has been rejuvenating being surrounded by nature. I love waking up to the sounds of frogs, birds and feeling the warmth of the sun.

Our guest house is perfectly located, close to all the amenities of Issaquah while being situated in the forest of Tiger Mountain, it feels like a world away when in fact you are only 20 minutes from downtown.

I have put many thoughtful details into the home to make it feel warm, nurturing and unique. I also teach yoga so the house has a dedicated yoga studio. You could use the room for a self directed practice or use the house iPad for a virtual class.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We strive to make your guest experience as enjoyable as possible.

Why they chose this property

We are semi remote, each house on our street has 5 acres of land so we appreciate that we don't see our neighbors and have a lot of privacy. Our guest house borders the forest so you will be even closer to the endless expansive forest of Tiger Mountain.

Our neighborhood is safe, quiet and all of the people that we see in the forest are kind and pleasant. They appear happy to be outside walking and biking.

We have a lot of plant diversity, with mossy trees so the variety of colors and textures are endless. You can hike to a creek just a mile away or go deep into the forest for longer day hikes.

Poo Poo Point, an iconic mountain peak, is about a 3.5 mile hike from our guest house. This is where all of the paraglider's jump off the mountain, so on clear sunny day you can look in the sky and see a rainbow of parachutes. There are also have some of the best mountain biking trails around on Tiger Mountain so people come from far and wide to bike the trails on the East side of the mountain.

I have been hiking my whole life and I love Tiger Mountain. I am sure that you will enjoy the sights and hikes too.
