It is important to make an INQUIRY first when booking this property with a description of group and purpose of visit.If its a good fit then the BOOKING REQUEST>This property has 14ft ceilings, a massive central wood fireplace and another gas fireplace. Open floor plan ideal for entertaining. Kitchen with all the subzero appliances; wine cooler, freezer drawers and ice maker, Miele in wall coffee maker , subzero fridge, oven and microwave, and six burner Thermador range. three large sun filled bedrooms, all with kings, two with queens and one with 6 bunks. Four bedrooms have T.V. s. Large bathrooms with tub, Heated floors, huge shower as well as outdoor shower.Also another guest bathroom. The doors are 8ft tall , the floors are hand rubbed oil french oak . Massive back patio with table that seats 14 and other seating arrangements.Indoors the table also seats 14. Steps down to huge lawn with huge 14 person in ground hot tub .There is a large orchard on the grounds.There is also a piano. This house sits on the same property as the 'Fishing Lodge' VRBO#334802 but still maintains its privacy and has riverfront access.It is ideal to rent along with the 5 bedroom Fishing Lodge for a family gathering or wedding(up to the number of house guests) or alone as a luxurious retreat. Owner lives next door and is on facebook.Oh and we have pigs and sheep and goats.All very friendly and love to be pet. If you need more space, ask about the connected 800 sqft artist's loft with kitchen ,bathroom , and loft sleeping with queen and two twins. I DO NOT EXCEPT BOOKING REQUESTS.BOOKING "INQUIRIES" ONLY.

Work retreat

Great place for colleagues to get together! Plenty of rooms, beautiful setting, relaxing pool and hot tub for after-hours. The house has every amenity you could want and was a great place for us to gather over dinner. Loved seeing the farm animals in the nearby pasture.

Annual King Family Vacation

What a wonderful vacation house for teens, adults and children. We had sheep and goats to take over our scraps and feed to them .what a treat for the kids. Early morning visitors of deer and turkeys with their young. The pool is outstanding! The outside patio table is wonderful for teens to sit and play games. We had one difficulty and we were very pleased by the owner's reaction to get it fixed. Rafting the river was a thrill for the teenagers. Overall excellent stay!! Will put it at the top for another vacation here.

Our host was so incredibly generous with her beautiful property. We had a lovely visit and were very comfortable. The property had everything we could need and then some. Beautiful home in Winthrop

We had a wonderful visit in Winthrop at this home. Highly recommend for large parties! The kitchen has many options for cooking which is helpful when you are traveling!

Wonderful stay in Twisp

Place was awesome, property is fantastic. Short drive from Twisp which has a remarkably high concentration of good restaurants, cute stores, etc. The house is converted from an old garage and it is really unique and well done, open space, roomy, yet very comfortable. All the amenities were there, and we used the outdoor hot tub every day. Great stay, can't wait to come back!

Fantastic Propwrty and Hostess

We havd 8 plus our dog for a birthday party. The property is fantastic! Super spacious, high end appliances (the TEC grill is about the best grill I’ve ever used), tons of amenities, and an amazing view and grounds. Ali is a fantastic hostess. We look forward to returning soon!

The best the Pacific Northwest has to offer. PERIOD.

 We had the pleasure of staying in this VRBO for a few days and it was a dream come true! The house was immaculately clean, with luxurious amenities and fun knick-knacks that added to the feeling of being at home. The hot tub and views of the property were amazing, and we didn't want to leave! The beds were very clean and comfortable, and the host was so helpful and fun to chat with. We had such a great time that we've already booked our stay for next year! Highly recommend this VRBO - it will exceed your expectations! If you’re looking for a sign to book your stay, this is it. I promise you will not be disappointed. It is a 1,000% a yes and 5+ stars all the way around. I almost didn’t want to write a review so that I could keep this a hidden gem to myself and my family but the host honestly deserves all of the credit in the world for providing a truly world class Vrbo vacation experience. Great stay

Celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday — it was an amazing place to host friends and family. Spacious, comfy, and beautiful. The pool was great and the proximity to the river was so nice for jumping in. Just 5 mins outside town made it really convenient. Ali was also very communicative and easy to get in touch with for any needs you might have. All in all a great stay.

Annual friends gathering 1st time at Aliwood

Gorgeous setting, fabulous interiors with surprise artistic touches everywhere. A collection of found items from around the world a feast for the eyes. Ali is a wonderful host who was available if needed. Her dog Cracker was adorable, well behaved and a delightful addition to our stay if we could coax him near. Sweet dog. We spent many hours by the well maintained pool. We had many meals around her beautiful outdoor patio table. Top notch all the way. Highly recommend.

Funcation!!!

We were a group of 1 set of grandparents, 3 aunts, 3 uncles and 6 kids ranging from 12 to 3 years old. We had loads of fun! The home was spotless and had beds for everyone with lovely linens. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and some toiletries. The only bugs we saw were outdoors in the evening but weren't bothersome. The kitchen made it easy for each couple to take a turn fixing dinner. The kids could find their own snacks and drinks. The pool is OUTSTANDING! Grandma and Grandpa and the 3-year-old had no trouble getting in and out with the "beach entry". Lovely cabana beds, very nice cushioned lounge chairs, and large umbrellas. Plenty of pool towels, toys, and even sun lotion available. River floating too! We had a comfortable fun time and hopefully can return soon!

Lovely home in peaceful Methow Valley

Our family does a reunion trip every summer. This year we had 13 adults and this beautiful home was perfect. Everyone had their own room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The property itself is lovely. There’s a big grassy yard to play yard games on and an infinity pool and hot tub. We tubed from the property to the city park. The home was immaculate and the furnishings were high quality. I’d recommend this home and our friendly host was very accommodating.

Spacious, Comfortable, and Well-Equipped!

We had a multi-family, week-long gathering at Aliwood and couldn't have been happier! We had 15 people and never felt crowded. With 5 bedrooms plus the 6-bed bunk room, there was plenty of space. We cooked, ate meals, played games, and relaxed, and never felt cramped. We were a bit worried about having only one shower, but this was rarely a problem. One of the other bathrooms had a tub with a handheld shower head which came in handy. The outdoor space was incredible. We used the enormous dining table on the patio for meals. The pool is one of the nicest pools I've seen at a house. It was more like a resort pool, with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and two curtained daybeds. The hot tub was also nice, especially when coming back from the river! Finally, the beautiful, expansive lawn provided tons of space for the kids to play wiffle ball, soccer, badminton, and other games. We found the house well-equipped with everything we needed - especially for cooking and serving lots of large meals. The outdoor bbq grill is huge, making it easy to cook for lots of people. Another highlight was the built-in automatic espresso/coffee machine! Lots of towels also makes bath time and pool time less stressful for a large group. The location of Aliwood is beautiful, with so much to do in the area. We fished, went mountain biking and hiking at Patterson Mountain Trailhead, floated the river using some of the inner tubes from the house, and visited old-west Winthrop.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!

My family picked this place because the review and pictures look incredible, but these photos and reviews are far from what this place actually looks and feels like. When we arrived, it was instantly evident that Ali (owner) lived and maintained this property alone. When we got there, her pitbull was not on a leash and knocked my 4 yr old over twice! There was zero sense of privacy. Ali was always around with her dog. There was dust and spiderwebs all over inside.Ali also failed to tell us there was mouse traps inside the property and BB gun in the closet easily accessible to our small children. Almost all of the closets in her the house was filled with her personal items. We had 11 kids under the age of 13 renting both of her spaces. This is irresponsible and not warning about some of her items like a BB gun and mouse traps is unacceptable! Her pool also had flakes of skin floating around as if someone did a pedicure in the pool. We decided to let this go and move on. However, things took a turn for the worst when everyone started to have bumps all over their body and aggressively getting itchy. Her place was infested with not only mosquitos but what we believe were bed bugs. My family was absolutely miserable and so itchy that we decided to leave at 10pm on a 4 hour drive home. The kids began to show signs of bedbug bites all over their face and body. We have not heard from Ali since we left. Do yourself and your family a favor and AVOID!

Spacious and gorgeous home!

The home’s common area (kitchen/dining/living) is beautiful and very comfortable. It’s ideal for multiple people and has updated appliances. We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday and could t have been happier with our choice of properties! We also rented “Aliwood” (same over) which made it super easy to walk back and forth and keeping our group together. We loved our stay!!!

Wonderful house! Loved the hot tub and the heated floors in the bathroom. The bunk room was adorable, the toddler we had with us was *obsessed*. Great location, cool house and accommodating host. Would stay again!!
