Sunflower Resorts offers nice, clean, and bright spaces right near town! We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Cone Flower Cabin and would definitely recommend Sunflower Resorts to others.
The place was easy to find and very nice and clean. Was close enough to town you could walk and if you didn't want to do that you could borrow a bike to ride to town.
Beautiful cabin, very clean, great location and loved that they had electric car chargers. It would have been nice to have 2 showers as we had 2 couples staying there.
Our hosts were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back as an annual excursion for years to come. The cabins are excellent, well appointed, and very comfortable. It is a home away from home for us. Our hosts were in touch and responsive without feeling clingy or intrusive. They have created a really perfect experience in a fantastic location.
Loved the well designed small cabin- fabulous location close to trails, the Barnyard Cinema, restaurants and town. Michael and Sierra are lovely and responsive - so welcoming. our dog loved the snowy multi-use trail just minutes from our door. Best of in-town locations!
We had a fantastic stay in the Coneflower Cabin at Sunflower Resort! The cabin is newer, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable and relaxing home base for exploring the area. The location is excellent—about 30 minutes from North Cascades National Park, making it easy to spend the day hiking and sightseeing while still enjoying all that Winthrop has to offer. Nestled on the Sunflower Resort it is peaceful and quiet - in the morning watch the deer and the wild turkeys right near the back patio! The charming downtown is just a short, easy trip away, with plenty of unique shops, local restaurants, and cafés to explore. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Whether you’re visiting to experience the incredible scenery of the North Cascades or simply looking for a peaceful getaway, the Coneflower Cabin is a wonderful choice. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Winthrop area!
Great communication with hosts prior to our arrival answering all our questions quickly. Very clean (and we are picky). Great location for skiing and a quick walk to town. Extremely pet friendly, including a raised dog bed that I may now need to buy for our dogs!

What a great spot to enjoy a wonderful winter weekend. This cabin is ultra-walkable to restaurants, downtown Winthrop, movie theatre, skating rink, and trails. Teens can have some independence during a family weekend, and everyone can get their outdoor fix easily. Wall charger for EV was great. Hosts were super responsive and helpful.
We came as a group of 4 (2 couples). The unit was very clean, plenty of space for 4 people, kitchen was well stocked and everything was very organized. Check in was made extremely easy and cleaning up trash and dishes at the end made it a quick end of trip task that was very easy to adhere to. Walking distance to Winthrop on the walking trail and a quick trip to twisp by car. We had a fantastic time here and if we come back to the Winthrop area, we would definitely stay again/ recommend it to our friends!
The only thing lacking at this 1,000-square-foot, very new cabin was "Winthrop charm." The large kitchen was very well equipped, the main bathroom had a great rain shower and separate soaking tub, the unit was very comfortable, private and obviously welcomed dogs. We especially liked the fact that we could access skiing or snowshoeing within a block's walk, so we didn't have to drive. Covered parking also meant we didn't have to scrape ice or snow off the car when we did go out. We would happily stay here again.
We had a great stay. It was cozy and really nicely outfitted. Great lighting and furnishings we did not feel like anything was missing. We baked in the oven all day for a team meal Saturday night and it was like being at home. We will look forward to being there again. Comfortable for us and our son. They did a great job with layout and desighn of the cabins. Easy to find and very close to everything. I am definitely going to get a massage next time! My wife loved hers. Thanks!
We really enjoyed our stay for a few days of nordic skiing. Sunflower Resort is conveniently located a short walk from the Winthrop trailhead and a short distance to the local grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The Coneflower cabin was immaculately clean and had plenty of space for 2 couples. The kitchen was stocked with enough basics for preparing meals. (As big coffee drinkers, we might suggest adding a drip coffeemaker to the electrical kettle and pour-over setup. Make sure to try the locally roasted Blue Star Coffee!) Beds were very comfortable, and the unit was far enough from the roads to be nice and quiet. We will definitely book again for a return trip!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower Resort. Our unit was comfortable and clean. Very conveniently
located to downtown Winthrop . The kitchen was well-equipped although I would prefer an actual coffee machine as opposed to the drip/thermos method provided. It was a great place to stay with dogs. Be aware that tv is streaming only. We didn’t have our id or passwords so felt frustrated not having tv access.. also it would be helpful to have reading lights in the bedroom and couch in the living room..
The property was great - nice, clean and well equipped. Nice quality bedding and towels. Very friendly hosts and pet friendly! There was a slight blip of confusion about the number of bathrooms. I had anticipated 1 and ½, thinking the ½ had a shower. That was not the case, but it was nicely remedied by larger accommodations, so all was great.
