The space was immaculately clean and adequately furnished. The location was great, right off of the Tufts Medical Center Subway stop. The host was friendly, communicative, and quick to reply back. The bed was a bit creaky, and the wall ac units were loud for myself but not for my friend (who is accustomed to sleeping with white noise), just fyi. Otherwise, an excellent choice of stay!
Good: Great location. You can walk to everything.Bad: The location is also a major drawback. The apartment is nestled between two or three nightclubs, and the street noise from about 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. is incredibly loud, including shouting, drunks, and fights. It is also a fourth-floor walk-up, which was not mentioned in the description and should be clearly disclosed. The apartment has the basics, but it is missing a surprising number of simple things, such as ice trays, kitchen towels, and a cutting board. The lighting is poor, some bulbs are missing, and there isn't enough good lighting to comfortably work.Overall, the location is extremely convenient, but prospective guests should know about the significant late-night noise and four flights of stairs before booking.
