We, Ulrich & Judith Plank, are delighted to offer our beautiful garden apartment to guests who love peace and quiet, nature, and appreciate beauty.

As an engineer and a naturopath, we love to relax in nature with our two small dogs. Whether it’s going for a walk, biking, or sailing, these activities help clear our minds after a day’s work.

We also love to enjoy our beautiful garden, where we can relax with a glass of wine, good conversation, or a book! You’ll find all these possibilities right here in our area...

Our apartment in the countryside—a separate cottage nestled amid a well-tended garden—immediately exudes that holiday feeling with its Nordic-inspired decor. In the high-quality kitchen, you can prepare a delicious meal in the evening after an eventful day, or wash away the day’s fatigue in the exclusive shower of the stunning natural stone bathroom.

The view into the distance to the south, over fields and forests, invites you to dream and linger.
In the evening, weather permitting, you can enjoy a glass of wine by candlelight on your small terrace. Make yourself at home!

The Sauerland begins in Menden! Our apartment is located between Menden and Wickede (each about 3–5 km away), with supermarkets, bakeries, and much more.

The Menden-Barge Gliding and Air Sports Club also offers sightseeing flights for those interested—or would you like to watch the Cessnas take off and land from the café terrace at the Arnsberg-Echthausen airfield?

About a 20-minute drive away, you’ll find both Lake Möhnesee and Lake Sorpesee, where you can go sailing, take boat trips, or enjoy the activities around the lakes.

Do you enjoy hiking? The Arnsberg Forest and surrounding fields offer countless opportunities.

If you prefer cycling, you can go mountain biking or ride along the Ruhr Valley Bike Trail.

If you enjoy swimming, Menden offers indoor and outdoor pools, and Wickede has a very nice outdoor pool.

Do you enjoy playing golf? The golf courses in Fröndenberg and Wickede are just a few minutes’ drive away.
