We had a lovely time. It was quiet, close to great shops and walking trails. Easy to get to the Metro. We had great hosts. Would strongly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time. They were great host. The home is spacious and in quiet neighborhood but still near the city center. We will definitely stay there again. We highly recommend this place.

Great location! Easy booking and check-in with good communication. We didn’t spend much time in the unit, but it was nice to have two bedrooms while traveling to visit with family.

This basement apartment was fantastic with a private entrance and a great view of the park behind the house. Street parking was plentiful and FREE. My son and I were visiting my hometown and this was perfectly located between the Virginia suburbs where I grew up and all of the tourist sites in DC. It was much cheaper than any nearby hotel and, IMO, much nicer. Would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed it, a cute place in a nice neighborhood and we would go there again. With 2 feisty girls who are argumentative and food-picky, it is nice to have separate rooms and a place to make simple meals. Thanks! Mike

My husband and I were truly blessed to have found this property just outside of DC. The host was so kind from the get-go, quickly answering our questions about our unique vehicle situation and assuring us we would have proper parking in front of the property. He also addressed and remedied a minor issue we had in our VRBO immediately. We felt he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home during our 4-night stay.The property itself is in a safe, quiet neighborhood & just a quick walk to the nearest bus stop. We appreciated the welcome goody basket and the printed 'things to know about the property' binder. Everything was clean; there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets. We only dined out during our stay, so we did not utilize the kitchenette, nor any cookware, etc. If/when we make it back to the DC area, we will definitely choose this property again for our lodging!

Jim and Lorena are the best hosts! Their place is so nice and clean and spacious, not to mention a super convenient location. They respond quickly and provide everything you need for an extended stay. Also, when my family had a medical emergency, Jim and Lorena were so flexible and accommodating, and let us extend our stay. They are very kind and followed up to see how my family was doing. I definitely recommend booking their place when visiting the DC/northern VA area!

This was a great location to get to our friends in Herndon, the Pentagon and DC to see our niece! This was my mistake, but I missed that it was in the basement of the hosts home. This was not an issue at all, but my error as i just missed it. Jim could not have been more responsive and helpful! Having full sized laundry was key for us as this stay was a part of a much larger 3 week trip and we needed to do laundry. VERY clean washing machine and dryer. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. Getting to/from public transportation was so convenient! Thank you so much Jim!
