Our house is located on a quiet side street in Vienna’s 23rd district, surrounded by an orchard and vegetable garden. Here, you can combine exploring the city with relaxation in a green setting. The Alterlaa subway station is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. It’s a 5-minute walk to the bus stop for line 62A, which takes you to the Meidling train station. In the garden, a large table with comfortable chairs invites you to enjoy meals together outdoors. Enjoy the fruit from our garden. The approximately 50 m² apartment is located on the ground floor of the house. We hope you feel right at home here; we’ve furnished the place just as we’d like to live when we’re travelling. A few steps lead up to the entrance. The first room you enter is the shared entryway. Here you can store your outdoor clothing and shoes—the tile floor is attractive and sturdy. The first door on the left leads to your floor. You’ll enter a spacious central foyer. From here, you can access the kitchen, living room, bathroom/toilet, and bedroom. In the entryway, you’ll find an information folder with everything you need to know about public transport, shopping, and things to do in the immediate and wider area. The cosy kitchen features a dining area for four people with a view of the large cherry tree in the garden. The kitchen opens onto the living room, which has a sleeper sofa (160/200 cm) and a bookcase offering reading material for hours of enjoyment. The living room connects to the large bedroom, which features a 160-cm-wide French double bed as well as a small coffee table and two comfortable armchairs for relaxing. The large closet provides ample space for your clothes. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a small sink, and a deep soaking tub with a shower. The window allows for quick ventilation of humid air. Heating is provided by infrared panels. Each room has its own thermostat to regulate the temperature. In the garden, you can find a pleasant spot to relax using the provided lounge chairs. There is virtually no traffic in the alleys, and it is very quiet. You can park your car for free in the driveway on the property. We use the attic of the house for our own personal use. I’m easily reachable by phone if you have any questions or need assistance.
