About this property
Historic Cabin! Downtown! 2 Blocks to Main St. Walk to everything!
JACK’s CABIN
Jack’s Cabin, formerly an ore traders cabin is nestled right in the middle of the down town historic district. Beautifully restored, this cabin home is nicely appointed and decorated tastefully with original artwork, and some period antiques. The new gourmet kitchen boasts Sub-zero appliances and an antique replica gas range. The dining table seats four comfortably.
This cabin is on the Breckenridge Historic Registry. It is centrally located on French Street, only 2 blocks off main; you can park your car and walk to everything! The main floor of this cabin is wheelchair assessable with no stairs. The free ride shuttle stops just steps out the front door, to whisk you away to the gondola on peak 8 or the beaver run chair on peak 9.
Jacks Cabin is pet friendly however there is a non-refundable fee$150.00 per pet per stay.
Jack’s cabin will sleep 4, preferably 2 adults and 2 children. The larger King size bed is on the main level, studio. Two twin beds are in the lofted second story. There is one full bath on the main floor and a half bath on the second level.
A pot belly gas stove warms you up when you return from your day exploring Breckenridge. You may find it hard to get up and get going as you are snuggled in reliving the former glory days of the miners and settlers in Breckenridge.
Why stay in a condo with crowded and noisy neighbors, when you can stay in your own private cabin, with private parking. There is onsite parking for one auto. You may request additional offsite parking with your inquiry.
Amenities include indoor and outdoor ski racks, hair dryer, Wifi, flat screen TV, & DVD player. If you require laundry services it is straight across the road.
This cabin is owned by a seasoned Breckenridge local who appreciates the simple and wonderful soul that Summit County has to offer. Whether you are an active outdoor enthusiast or you have just come to relax and shop and taste of Breckenridge you will not be disappointed staying at Jack's Cabin.Main Floor square footage is 500, plus the loft.

Zero stars. We were unable to stay in the cabin because when we checked in, it hadn’t been cleaned.

About the host
Hosted by Anita Whetstone
I love to travel. I grew up in the Midwest. However when I first came to Colorado I knew this had to be my home.
I would like to share my Historic Cabin with you when I am not there.
I would like to share my Historic Cabin with you when I am not there.
Why they chose this property
I love history. When I saw this cabin and heard the story of Mickey the ore man who built it 130 years ago I wanted to be a future owner.
What makes this property unique
This is a stand alone guest cabin. On the Historic Registry it has been beautifully restored with reclaimed lumber. This cabin is on the street level so you don't have a bunch of steps to climb!
