A retreat to recharge your batteries—and a starting point for exciting hikes in the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park and mountain bike tours.
Or a peaceful setting (a secluded location and a garden plot covering an area of approximately 5,000 square metres) for you and your children (free from the dangers of traffic), with plenty of space to play and run around —but also to camp outdoors on balmy summer nights and turn this little adventure with a campfire into an unforgettable childhood memory.

The approximately 800-meter-long unpaved but easily drivable access road to the house heralds the long-awaited break from everyday life in the unique natural setting of the Fichtelgebirge.

As a guest in one of our two holiday apartments at the foot of the Kösseine viewpoint mountain, you’ll not only enjoy the secluded and peaceful location on the edge of the forest at an elevation of about 700 metres, but also a direct view of the Kösseine (939 m) and the Schneeberg—the highest peak in the Fichtelgebirge at just under 1,100 metres. You can take in this soothing panorama from the sun terrace, for example.
