ABOUT OUR HOME
Our sunny, modern, and beautifully decorated four-bedroom Truckee vacation home is located in the popular Tahoe Donner community. Whatever the season, there’s tons to do outside, whether hiking, swimming, golfing, mountain biking, playing tennis and paddle-boarding in the summer or enjoying the world-class skiing nearby in the winter. For those days when you don’t feel like heading out, stay in and enjoy the hot tub, the gourmet kitchen, the sunny deck among the trees, or just curling up with a good book in front of the fire.

The house throughout has been tastefully decorated in an eclectic modern style, with attention to detail everywhere you look.

On the main level of the house, the open floor plan includes a great room with room for everyone to socialize, a fully-stocked kitchen for the chef in your group and a dining table that seats twelve for your family feasts. Also on this floor is the Master Suite which has a large and sunny bedroom with king-size bed, a walk-in closet and a luxurious stone and granite bathroom with a step-in shower, two vanities and a large jacuzzi tub. Two other bedrooms are on this floor, each with a king-size bed, and together they share a bathroom with twin vanities and a tub with shower.

Downstairs you'll find the two remaining sleeping areas. There's the fourth bedroom with two twin beds, one of which can convert to a queen-size bed on a trundle, and a bunk room with four twin beds. There are two more bathrooms, one with a luxurious deep tub as well as a step-in shower and the other with a large step-in shower. The large recreation room has a widescreen HD TV (with cable), a modern sectional sofa, a DVD player, a card table, as well as a selection of toys and games.

The beds in our home all have new, comfortable, high-quality mattresses and high thread-count linens. There are laundry facilities on both floors. All bedrooms and the rec room are carpeted, while the bathrooms all have heated floors - no cold feet here!

Outside, you will find a big sunny deck off the great room with a large gas grill, umbrella, and seating for twelve for an outdoor feast. Downstairs there is a wide patio with a six-person hot tub where you can enjoy a soak amongst the trees after a day out hiking or on the slopes. We have an ample two car garage and a flat driveway (an important feature when there is any snowfall) with space for two more cars.

This beautiful home sleeps up to 12 guests and is especially well-suited to three couples with up to six children. Our home is ideal for year-round getaways, whether you bring your skis or your hiking boots, with family and friends.

ABOUT TAHOE DONNER

Tahoe Donner offers amazing recreational amenities for every season of the year (please check www.tahoedonner.com for availability during your stay). With provided guest passes for 6 people you can take advantage of the 3 heated pools (lap pool open year-round), dry sauna, wet sauna, tennis center, tennis pro shop, golf course, driving range, golf pro shop, fitness center, winter snow play area, ski area, equestrian center and the renowned cross-country ski and mountain bike center with an extensive network of trails. Summer visitors can enjoy all sorts of water sports at the members-only beach club on Donner Lake, which features a sandy beach, boat launch, boat, kayak and paddleboard rentals, and cafe. The Alder Creek Adventure Center features access to an extensive trail network for hiking, horseback riding at the Equestrian Center, mountain biking via Bikeworks, and cross country skiing and snowshoeing at the Cross Country Ski Center. All the standard Tahoe Donner amenities are $24 a day for use of all facilities. Non-standard amenities (equestrian, golf, ski, and fitness classes) cost more. ABOUT OUR LOCATION
Our house is conveniently located near the entrance to Tahoe Donner, which makes for a much easier return home after a day of skiing in the winter, and is just a mile away from the Coyote Ranch golf course. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, and Sugar Bowl ski resorts are all less than 30 minutes away. Just a ten minute drive from the house are the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort which is great for young kids and adults learning to ski, and the Alder Creek Adventure Center with its extensive summer and winter trail network. Our summer guests will appreciate the numerous hiking trails within walking distance from our home, while beautiful Lake Tahoe is about 15 miles away. One of the owners' favorite activities is to hike a forested trail directly into Truckee's historic old town for great shopping, coffee and ice cream shops, and fine dining.

Tahoe Donner Private Amenity Access - Important Info for Our Guests:

Our home is located in Tahoe Donner, and as a short-term tenant, you have access to Tahoe Donner’s public amenities (Downhill Ski Resort, Cross Country Ski Center, Snowplay, Golf Course, Bikeworks, Equestrian Center and all restaurants) during your stay. Access to Tahoe Donner’s private amenities (Beach Club Marina, Trout Creek Recreation Center, Northwoods Pool, and the Tennis + Pickleball Center) requires a valid Short-Term Tenant Card and Daily Access Fees at the time of entry. This property includes 6 cards for use during your stay.

One Short-Term Tenant Card is required per person, ages 3+ (per day).

Short-term tenants with valid Short-Term Tenant Cards are required to pay Daily Access Fees to access private amenities.

Blackout dates apply during select peak/holiday periods for private amenities, at which time Short-Term Tenant Cards are not eligible for private amenity access (not applicable to public amenities). The 2026 blackout dates include:
