Chris was great and helpful. Everything was as described the hot tub, games , kitchen and bedrooms. The wood stove kept us cozy and warm while the snow fell. It was a great retreat for us and will be back again.

Great stay

House is about 5 min drive from town so close to stores less than 10 minutes from old town truckee the house had everything we needed it was in good shape wasn’t trashed it’s a great place for family or friends to go there was video games board games smart tvs that had all the services cable tv Netflix peacock Hulu all that stuff just wish the tvs were bigger but it’s ok we still had a great stay

Clean, spacious, comfortable cabin

Great location, close to historic Truckee, shops, and eateries. The cabin was perfect for our party of 6 adults. Very spacious and clean. The stairs were a bit steep for my elderly parents (in their 80s) but overall a great place to stay. Loved the game room and outside decks.

Super fun setup

The property had plenty of space for 3 of us. It’s a great location for enjoying the HOA amenities like the pool and clubhouse. Super friendly street and neighbors. Will definitely stay here and bring along the grandparents next time.

Girls weekend

This house was the cutest little mountain retreat! We had a girls weekend and were extremely happy with all the amenities (especially the hot tub!), space and property. I would absolutely stay here again! House was clean, everything is provided and it was beautiful. It was also right next to Donner Lake which was perfect for our group. Thank you so much for lending your home to us!

Fun Times in Truckee

We had an excellent time in Truckee. The house was beautiful and close to everything. We were emergency evacuated the last day due to a wildfire. I would definitely recommend downloading the local wildfire app for alerts. The house had a portable crib, highchair, and baby gates.

Our stay

The house was nice pictures do make it look more spacious that it is. Our stay was nice although I still wonder why they charge a cleaning fee. There was still coffee in pot, no extra trash bags or toilet paper we went out and bought some no big deal. We had to was every dish before we used it the pans were greasy. Also 1 of the wine glasses was cracked the pull out bed was broken. We didn't get to use the hot tub but theres one there and its a nice amenity. However when i called the emergency number the gentleman was really helpful and nice. Overall we had a great time we didn't let the little things ruin anything.

It was a pleasure speaking with you during your stay to resolve these issues. As described previously, housekeeping simply forgot to put out garbage bags and toilet paper. This is not common, and as a reminder, should you have informed us on any day other than departure day we would have been able to get some from the locked supply closet in the home immediately. When we spoke we did allow you to open and access these supplies. We're very sorry that housekeeping also missed the coffee pot but again this is not common, and these occurrences while a frustration were not a means to return the cleaning fee in full. We hope that you have a chance to stay at any of our rentals in the future as we are confident that this would not be the case in the future. Until next time, TAP

As Described

The house was as described. The cleanliness was generally well done but there were a few issues. BBQ on deck was left uncovered with dirty utensils left on it. Dinning room table had crumbs left on it. A small window, out of the way, was left open and it took a couple of days to discover. Many lightbulbs needed to be changed, especially in the garage where there were no outside lights.
