• For our guests' security and safety, there is a Ring security camera located above the garage doors overlooking the driveway, street, and front yard.

• This property is treated for Pest Control on the first Tuesday of each month from April to September, and bi-monthly otherwise

• The pool is cleaned twice a week from April to September, and once a week otherwise

This was a very unfortunate stay and extremely overpriced. The floors, walls, ceilings, furniture ALL filthy along with mold growing in one of the bedrooms ceilings. Only positives on this property was location and the pool was decent. Absolutely would NOT recommend. My daughter tried contacting the host directly with photos without response during our stay.

Hi Gina, We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We took over the management of this home at the beginning of the season from our previous property management company and have been working diligently to make ongoing improvements throughout the property. Over the past several months, we have replaced or updated many items, including beds, sofas, dressers, curtains, kitchen and cookware, pool furniture and more. We also regularly visit the home between stays to inspect the property, address maintenance needs, and ensure it is being properly cleaned. We appreciate you bringing the ceiling stain to our attention. It was caused by condensation from the third-floor air-conditioning unit and is not mold. The source has been addressed, and the affected area is scheduled to be cleaned and repaired. For guest privacy and documentation purposes, all communication must remain within the Vrbo messaging platform. We are committed to continuing to improve the home and provide a comfortable, enjoyable experience for every guest. We are disappointed that your experience fell short, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue working to make the property the best it can be. We truly believe this is a special home!

The house is beautiful and has a lot of potential. The host was also very responsive throughout our stay and answered our questions and concerns promptly, which we appreciated.However, for the we paid for five nights, we expected the property to be in much better condition. The listing photos looked great, but the house did not fully live up to them in person. Some bathrooms had visible mold, and the refrigerator was missing the door shelves, making it difficult to store groceries for our group. The outdoor table was peeling, and the outdoor flooring was dirty and could use a thorough power wash.The photos also made the small pool appear to be a hot tub, but we later learned it was not heated. A pool robot or more frequent cleaning would also be a nice addition, as we have seen this at other vacation homes.A few days into our stay, the A/C stopped working, although the host promptly arranged for a vendor to fix it.Overall, the house is beautiful, but for the price, we expected better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to detail. With some updates and improved upkeep, it could better match the luxury experience reflected in the photos and pricing.

Jacqueline, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. We took over management of the home from a previous property management company at the beginning of the season. Since then, we have continued to make improvements, including updating bed frames, pool chairs, dressers, kitchenware, cookware, and more. We are glad we were able to take care of the AC issue for you quickly, and glad it was just a drain clog issue! We are also currently in the process of replacing the refrigerator. Unfortunately, it experienced significant wear during the busy season, and we are working to have the new one installed as soon as possible. Regarding the pool and spa, our listing does state that they are not heated, though we understand this may still have been disappointing. The pool is professionally serviced twice a week, and we are planning to increase service to three times a week. Because the pool is outdoors, some leaves or debris may occasionally enter the water between cleanings, particularly during periods of high winds or inclement weather. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to continuing to improve the home and the experience we provide for our guests.

We love how spacious the property is and the location being only a 5-minute walk to the beach. The property is perfect for a big family like ours as everyone was able to get their own room. We appreciate the property management’s quick response to our questions. We likely won’t return to this property due to a few things not worth the price of the stay. The property badly needs some TLC as several items in the home are broken/unfunctional. You can tell they try to spruce up the spaces with new furniture and light fixtures but major things in the home need replacement. A bathroom door in the basement couldn’t be locked.Lastly, the cleanliness of the property needs reassessment. The floors were not mopped good. Our feet were black. We tried cleaning up but the broom didn’t have a dust pan and the vacuum cleaner was clogged and old. Kitchen items like coffee mugs and plates were not clean and still had food stain on them. A few of the bathtubs looked like they had mold. The vents were dirty and dusty.We didn’t feel like our stay was as comfortable as we liked it to be due to these matters.

We have worked hard to update bed frames, mattresses, light fixtures, kitchen items, and more. We are so sorry for the issues you experienced regarding the cleanliness of the home. We take pride in our cleanliness and after every cleaning we also have an inspector come double check everything to ensure it is guest ready. Regarding the dirty floors and kitchenware, we would have gladly had our cleaners come back during your stay to handle these things, and I am sorry you experienced this! We have already handled the mold in the shower/tub jets, we have ordered a new broom and dust pan, and we will have our handyman take a look at the door that doesn't lock! Lastly, everything in the home works great, and we are constantly improving this home from guest feedback. Again, thank you for taking the time to write a review :)
