If you like the sound of a creek, this is the place to stay! The house was clean and more child-friendly than most overnight places I've stayed at. I will note that there is a wide staircase and the bathroom is upstairs, which could be challenging depending on the age of your child. For my children, it was perfect! They liked going up and down the stairs. (a novelty for them, since we have no stairs in our house) We all enjoyed sitting in the sunroom/ enclosed porch to listen to the creek and eat and play board games and watch the neighbors chickens. While there are neighbors nearby, it felt safe and private. The occasional car going by moved slowly. Highly recomend!
