About the host
Hosted by Jenn Hepner
Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m a Bay Area first responder who fell in love with Twain Harte as an easy place to slow down and recharge. I self-manage the cabin and genuinely enjoy helping guests have smooth, low-stress stays whether they’re visiting Pinecrest Lake, Yosemite, or just escaping the city for a few relaxing days in the mountains.
Why they chose this property
I’ve always loved that Twain Harte feels active without feeling busy. You can spend the day outside, walk into town for coffee, dinner or ice cream, hear live music or visit the Thursday night market in the summer, then still come back to a quiet neighborhood at the end of the night.
One of my favorite things is how easy it is to slow down up there. People spend more time outside, mornings feel calmer, and even simple things like sitting on the deck or spotting deer in the evening become part of the trip.
What makes this property unique
What originally stood out to me about the cabin was how comfortable and practical the layout felt compared to a lot of mountain homes. Having 2 king bedrooms, a separate twin room, AC, and walkability to town ended up being a combination that guests seem to really appreciate too.
I’ve tried to keep the cabin feeling relaxed and easy rather than overly complicated or overly decorated. My goal has always been for people to settle in quickly, feel comfortable, and spend their time enjoying the area instead of figuring out the house.
