About this property

Sauna, Fenced Yard + Secret Attic. Sleeps 6. 8 Min to Boeing, 3 to Waterfront

Timber & Tide is a brand new designer home on a quiet Everett street. The whole house is yours: a private fully fenced yard, a cedar sauna, three sleeping spaces, free parking, pets welcome, and no check out chores.

Every turnover is hotel-quality clean. Fresh linens, restocked amenities, spotless surfaces. Self check-in, so you arrive on your own schedule.

WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP

Two main-level king bedrooms, each with blackout curtains, ceiling fans, smart TVs, luxury bedding, and luggage racks. The kind of quiet you don't get at a hotel.

Then there's the secret attic. It's hidden in the loft behind the curtains, up a ladder. Cedar-lined, string lights, bean bag chairs, a memory foam queen piled with pillows, and a plush campfire to gather around. Kids climb up and disappear for hours. The loft doubles as a second living space.

Sleeps 6.

YOUR PRIVATE BACKYARD

This is what sets us apart, and it works year round. The whole yard is fenced and gated, so the kids and the dog can roam and you can actually relax. Fire up the propane grill, then move to the covered patio for dinner under string lights with seating for six, rain or not. As it cools off, settle into the Adirondack chairs around the real wood-burning fire pit, or call everyone over for giant Jenga. It's the kind of outdoor space that usually costs a two-hour drive.

THE SAUNA

A Redwood Outdoors sauna, steam and heat, seats 4, built from natural cedar. It's the reset after a travel day, a hike, or a long shift. Plenty of guests book us for the sauna alone.

IF YOU'RE HERE FOR WORK

Boeing Everett is 8 minutes away. There's a dedicated workspace, 300 Mbps Xfinity wifi, a full kitchen, and a brand new Samsung washer and dryer, which is what actually makes a long assignment livable. The heated bathroom floors and the sauna handle the rest.

KITCHEN AND BATH

Fully stocked and ready to use. A coffee bar with locally roasted Bargreens beans, tea, organic spices and honey, GreenPan ceramic cookware, wood and silicone cutting boards. The bathroom is stocked with non-toxic soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

LOCATION

Harborview Park and the water are 3 minutes away. Howarth Park is under 5, good for a morning run, a decompression walk, or a slow sunset. Downtown Everett is 10 minutes, Boeing Everett is 8, and Seattle is about 35 without traffic. Close to everything while staying tucked away and quiet.

EVERY AMENITY YOU NEED

Redwood Outdoors sauna (steam and heat, seats 4), fully fenced yard, covered patio, wood-burning fire pit, AC and heat, heated tile bathroom floors, electric fireplace, two king beds plus a queen in the attic, smart TVs with streaming, loft second living space, 300 Mbps wifi, dedicated workspace, Samsung washer and dryer, blackout curtains, ceiling fans, self check-in, free and secure parking, pet friendly. Everything is brand new.

PERFECT FOR

Families who want the kids sleeping somewhere other than the living room floor. Friend groups who'd rather cook and sit by a fire than go out. Couples. And anyone in town on a Boeing or aerospace assignment who is done with hotel rooms.

A carefully thought out rental property with everything you'd need. A lot of extra special touches and recommendations for things to do in the area. It felt like we were in a home and garden TV home. High quality furnishings and supplies. Would love to stay again.

About the host

Hosted by Jennifer Area Yield

Host profile image
We're Jennifer and Travis, real estate investors, world travelers (40+ countries with our kiddos), and Pacific Northwest natives. We've been investing in real estate for 17+ years, and building Timber & Tide was a passion project.

We designed every inch of this home ourselves, from the custom artwork to the cedar-lined attic to the barrel sauna placement.

We built the kind of place we'd want to book on our own family trips: intentional, beautiful, and full of surprises. We're hands-off during your stay, but always a quick message away if you need anything.

Why they chose this property

Timber & Tide sits on a quiet residential street with mature trees, friendly neighbors, and zero traffic noise, but you're minutes from everything.

Under 8 minutes to Boeing Everett, 3 minutes to the nearest waterfront park, and a short drive to downtown Everett's breweries, restaurants, and the marina.

It's the kind of neighborhood where you can have a fire pit evening without hearing a single car, then be at brunch in 5 minutes. Close to everything, tucked away from all of it.

What makes this property unique

Everything here was custom-built from the ground up. The driftwood crab sculpture above your bed was made for this room. The cedar-lined secret attic was framed and finished specifically to be a hideaway your kids will never forget. The coffee bar is stocked with locally roasted PNW beans because we think your morning coffee should feel like a ritual, not an afterthought. Add a private barrel sauna under the evergreens, a stone fire pit, a covered pavilion, and an NBA Jam arcade in the loft, and you have a stay that doesn't exist anywhere else in Everett.
