The rooftop with the Mountain View was spectacular! Make sure to plan some time to relax on the outdoor furniture and enjoy the views. We really enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at several feeders from the kitchen windows. The house was very nice, clean and spacious. We appreciated the drinking water, fresh farm eggs and well stocked kitchen. We would certainly stay again.

We chose this property because we wanted to get away from everything but be able to be in Seattle in less than a hour. This property was a great location for us and was clean, safe, and comfortable. The hosts were extremely responsive and offered fresh eggs, brought home cooked food, but were never intrusive. Definitely 5 star!

If you want a quiet, very beautiful,amazing comfy home, where your host brings you fresh eggs and yummy I mean yummy sour dough bread. We have never encountered such nice host and we travel a lot . So if you ever need to go to Monroe you really need to check out Susan and Johns home !!

As always, the Aerie is such a lovely home to stay in. We have returned for a second year and it was just as cozy and well kept as it was the year before. Susan and John are attentive, helpful (we had a late night smoke alarm battery call that they responded to immediately) and so hospitable, bringing us farm fresh eggs and warm sourdough. The beds are very comfortable, the linens and towels are freshly cleaned with ample extras if needed, the kitchen is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are kept very clean and there is always plenty of hot water. And, perhaps the best part of all, there were dozens of hummingbirds right outside of the kitchen window every morning. Truly a dream! Thank you for letting us stay with you.

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The accommodations were warm and welcoming, and the views were terrific for the early risers in our party. Sparrow greeted us each morning as we went out for our adventures. We were particularly grateful when we returned after checking out to retrieve a left behind item, and our hosts had already found it for us and met us in the driveway with the item and a warm loaf of bread to boot! Thank you do much for having us, we will be coming back!

Beautiful house with absolutely amazing views. Hosts were very friendly and easy to contact. Location was secluded and extremely peaceful, yet close enough to amenities in nearby town that we never felt too isolated. Great home base for staying put and relaxing or for day trips into city or nearby hiking/trails. Definitely recommend!
