Home is older, but comfortable. Nice patio with bbq made for easy afternoons. Great walk-ability to restaurants and beach.

We are delighted knowing that you enjoyed your stay and got to take advantage of the patio and BBQ—that’s definitely one of the best parts for easy afternoons. And the walkable location really is hard to beat for restaurants and the beach. Appreciate you staying with us and hope to host you again!
We enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood, close to beautiful windansea, clean with very comfortable king size beds. Nice outdoor area and responsive host.
The property was in our favirite neighborhood in La Jolla, near the Barber tract. I loved the proximity to the walking trail, the beach, the market etc.Tom and I loved taking the cgairs to the beach every evening and watching the sunsets. The beds were super comfy and the private patio was perfect for enjoying your morning coffeeWe really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate booking again
The location of the house was great. Loved the patio and the front grassy yard. The house was cozy. Both rooms have king sized beds so that was wonderful. Needs some updating in kitchen and bathroom but it was clean!

This house maybe ok for a short term rental. We stayed for 2 months. The kitchen was absolutely not appropriated for this long of stay.
Great location, great for what we needed, only downside was no designated parking so you have to find street parking which was okay during the day but gets tight at night, however, don’t let that stop you from renting this cute bungalow within walking distance to the beach.
This was a lovely home that was small, but checked all the boxes for my family. Yard was perfect for a dog. My only slight nit is that we were there at an abnormally humid time in summer and there was no A/C. It was okay with fans, but just something to be aware of.

The biggest plus for Rosemont Retreat is the quiet neighborhood and its location near the beach for the daily walks we enjoyed during the month we were there. The patio and living area are pleasant and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen suffices, but the overall condition of this house (built in 1948 according to a neighbor) is old and rundown. The picket fence is rotting and falling apart. The bathroom seems to be the original, with a wall heater at toddler level that has an open grill and coils that heat to red-hot. The low shower fixture sprayed my 6’2” husband on the chest, and the sink had a bad odor emanating from the drain. After we arrived, a maintenance person had to stop by to re-light the pilot in the living room wall heater, and return later to replace a doorknob to the side yard that broke. Overall, this was our most disappointing (and expensive) vacation rental ever.
