Makani Sands Unit #208 is your home away from home while on Maui.

This one bedroom condo has a beautiful view of the ocean, as well as our neighboring islands of Molokai & Lanai. Condo has bamboo floors in the living room, and a large wrap around couch with a sofa bed.

You can sit on your lanai and have your morning coffee, or watch the sunset over the ocean. This condo has a full kitchen, with all the necessary appliances The bedroom has a King bed, and There are two TVs, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom.
Washer and dryer and free internet.
There is a stereo, CD and DVD for your enjoyment Ask for Makani Sands #208, and enjoy your stay on Maui. 2 guests only please!

Relaxing, quiet, and gorgeous view.

Check in was so smooth, the water view from this location is beautiful. The condo had everything we needed. The beach was so fun. We saw a lot of see turtles. We will be back.

Turtle and whale heaven

The location and amenities for the price are unmatched. The condo could use a little updating but again for the price point it was perfect. Whales everywhere and the snorkeling right out the condo wall is incredible. Will definitely stay at Makani Sands again. Check out was a little unclear as no instructions were given.

location was great. view from balconey awesome. only downside was the floors are very dirty. I hand washed the floor in the kitchen and was amazed at the dirt. Also when I walked around in the unit the bottoms of my feet would become very dirty. The screen on the deck needs to be repaired, as we had a lizard visit us. Very enjoyable, would rent again.

Beautiful, well managed property will stay again

Was in Maui for a family wedding. Did not get to make full use of the property, as the schedule was full. However, the condo was incredibly peaceful, listening to the waves as they rolled in at night. Saw at least one turtle every single day . ..a perfect place to relax. The property manager Tammy, was incredibly helpful, I had to contact her after hours and she called me back immediately.

We saw whales and turtles while drinking coffee in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The condo was decently appointed in the kitchen and clean. The furnishings and bathroom are getting a little dated but still comfortable.

This was our 5th stay there and every unit we have stayed in has been outstanding. We love sitting on the lanai, poolside or out in front just watching the sea turtles and the whales go by. Makani still has the quiet, family type of place where everyone is made to feel welcome. Tammy at the front desk is always so helpful and pleasant. Just an incredible vacation. Location is amazing, right on the water and quiet. The only thing I learned is that this unit, like many in Maui, does not have AC. To my surprise this was a non issue with great breezes and the nights even being cold.

Unit was well stocked with spices, soaps for the kitchen and bathroom as well as beach towels and dish towels. We didn’t need to bring anything other than our clothes. Bed was comfy. I thought we would miss not having AC but the fans and the cross breeze we so great and very refreshing. Thank you. We will be back

We very much enjoy going into the waters out front and snorkeling. The sunsets from the lanai are absolutely stunning. Ricky keeps the grounds spotless. We barbecue our dinners every night and enjoy the cleanliness of everything. We very much enjoy when he likes the torches right before sunset. It’s beautiful. Tammy provides great communication in planning our trip and is very attentive to any additional needs we might have. It’s a wonderful place to visit and we will continue to come every year. We absolutely adore Makani Sands.

The little tiny 'ants' in the kitchen were annoying, left the bug spray for the next renters.... it worked fabulous and no harm, no foul. The only other thing I might change, is the swimming equipment. Maybe a boogie board or noodle or two. Overall, not a game changer! Thank you Makani Sands, you knocked it out the park for me and my guy!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed on the property a number of times and this unit was the least impressive. The floors were very dirty, not to look at, but the bottoms of your feet will be black in no time. No notice that the water entry / sea wall had received damage from high surge in late 2019. Sliding door and screen definitely need replaced.

It is a small, quiet unit of condos with gorgeous views. The location is perfect for exploration of the amazing west side of Maui. We went on incredible hikes, experienced natural beauty beyond our expectations, and had so much fun at nearby beaches! Our favorite beach, Napili Bay, was just a short drive from Makani Sands. Our unit 208 was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our own meals and enjoy our days. We fell asleep every night listening to the waves crashing outside. What a beautiful sound! We were blessed to see whales in the distance and sea turtles up close. We also enjoyed watching the eels and crabs in the tide pools near the outdoor grill. We loved staying at Makani Sands!

Great View, Comfortable place

Very nice place. Watching whales and sunset dinners on the Lanai were a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.
