About this property

Lake Naomi, Fairy Village, Firepit | Creekside Cabin

"A little piece of Pocono paradise that you will never want to leave. Book it, now." That's what a guest said about our creekside home, 9 minutes from Kalahari. Mornings, your kids head out to find the Fairy Village hidden in our trees. Afternoons lead you down the path to our creek beach, where the hammock hangs and the Adirondack chairs sit in the sand. Sleeps eight: two king suites, twin-over-full bunk, queen with a desk. Firewood and coffee stocked, Camelback 17 minutes.

Guests enjoy full privacy with easy self-check-in via smart lock. We’re always available by message if you need anything during your stay, from local recommendations to assistance with the home. We’ll give you plenty of space to relax while making sure help is always close by.

Bearly Roughing It is tucked into the peaceful, wooded Lake Naomi community in Pocono Pines—close to the Poconos’ biggest attractions while still feeling wonderfully removed from it all.

Enjoy quiet roads, towering trees, nearby lakes and an easy year-round escape for hiking, skiing, waterparks, restaurants and family adventures.

Lake Naomi Club amenities may be available through an optional temporary membership for stays of 7 nights or longer, subject to availability and Club rules. Please ask before booking if Club access is important to your stay.

You have our whole home for your stay, along with the back deck, the wooded grounds, the fire pit, the yoga platform, and our private creek beach. Self check-in is with a smart lock; your code and arrival instructions come through before you get here. The driveway holds six vehicles, and the creek and the woods beyond our property line belong to the community rather than to us.

Fifteen miles from the slopes at Jack Frost Big Boulder, our home sits in the wooded Lake Naomi community with a creek running the length of the back property line. We're a Guest Favorite on Airbnb, ranked in the top 1% of listings for ratings, reviews and reliability.
Our bedrooms sit on three separate floors, so nobody in a group of eight ends up crowded: two king suites with ensuite baths, a bunk room with a twin-over-full and a chalkboard easel, and a queen with the whole third floor to itself, desk and windows over the creek. Four and a half baths, so nobody's left waiting. Inside, the 60-game arcade console sits off the dining room and a reading nook rests on the mezzanine under a skylight.
The path from our back deck runs past the fire pit and the giant swing down to the creek. The fire pit is a hanging cauldron ringed by chairs built from old ski blades, firewood stacked nearby. Further along, the yoga platform sits back in the trees overlooking the water. At the bottom, our creek beach has Adirondack chairs in the sand and a hammock strung between two pines. Hidden along the way is the Fairy Village, for your kids to claim while you lounge by the creek.

Winter Pocono Weekend Getaway

Steve was an incredible host and did everything to ensure a peaceful stay at his Pocono retreat. The thoughtful and artistic touches throughout the house made it feel like home from the art to the ski blade chair around the outdoor fire pit. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided from a strong hair dryer, bathroom essentials, phone charging stations, arcade game, a stellar coffee bar (we had coffee four ways!), pillow bar to choose your own pillow, firestarters and free firewood, and even games and birdwatching supplies. We cooked most meals and the kitchen was fully equipped even with an electric griddle for pancakes. It was the perfect stay for a winter escape and we greatly appreciate a dog friendly stay where we can bring our furry family too. Both the kids and dogs had a blast exploring the yard and home… and even the adults loved the book nook with a giant teddy bear upstairs. We recommend a walk up to the trout pond, listening to the creek, and Jubilee for wing night! We can’t wait to return again.
