Guest is new to VRBO and had no prior reviews, regardless we approved the stay. Guest also asked to check-in early which we allowed.

We also strive to provide our guests with a high-quality stay while offering strong value. Unlike many vacation rentals, we do not charge a separate cleaning fee because we want to keep the overall cost competitive while providing guests with a new build home in a convenient location. Regarding some fingerprints, unfortunately remain despite thorough cleaning. That said, we understand your expectation for the home to be as clean as possible upon arrival. As for the toothpaste residue, bandage, and debris you mentioned, these were not observed or reported by our cleaning team during their inspection. We sincerely apologize if these items were overlooked. The bandage in particular was not observed during the post-checkout inspection, we cannot determine how or when it appeared. We also did not observe residue on the shower liner; however, as an added precaution, the shower liners have been replaced and we do routinely replace them as needed as part of maintaining the property. The bedsheets were properly washed and changed prior to your stay, and we have no indication that the bedding was not clean. We also did not receive any further concern regarding the bedding during the stay. We certainly understand that if a guest is uncomfortable with the condition of a property, they may choose to relocate to a hotel, and we would not prevent them from doing so. However regardless of the issues mentioned, guests chose to stay. Throughout this reservation, we made every effort to accommodate the guests and provide attentive service. We offered an early check-in as a courtesy and remained responsive when the guests contacted us after midnight regarding their cleaning concerns. We also worked with the guests to allow them to resubmit their payment after the initial payment was declined through VRBO, so they could proceed with their reservation rather than lose the booking. Nevertheless, will continue working with our cleaning team to ensure the property is thoroughly inspected and prepared for every guest.
