Sound Side #209 is the perfect, two-story home for spending quality time with friends and family while on vacation. Prepare anything from simple beach snacks to full-course dinners in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar with four counter stools. Dine together at the table for six, and then chill in the open living area complete with a sectional and a TV. Outside, there's a furnished balcony on the second floor and a furnished patio on the lower level. Guests can also cool off in the shared pool after days in the Florida sun.



The white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are located just a few short blocks from this home. If you don't feel like cooking, there are endless dining options within walking distance. Visit Fort Walton Beach, located just across the Brooks Bridge, where you will find plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, and much more. We enjoyed our stay! The house did not have a grill and the TV in the master bedroom volume did not work. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Relaxing great stay

The inside of the condo was very nice. There were 7 adults 40+ and we all had plenty of room and were very comfortable space wise. The location to the beach was just a short walk. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to make meals and store. We had a great time and would recommend this location.

Disappointing Stay Due to Bed Bugs – Had to Leave EarlyWe rented this place hoping for a relaxing Florida vacation, but unfortunately, it was anything but. Shortly after checking in, we discovered bed bugs in the unit. This was a major health and hygiene issue, and we had no choice but to leave immediately.We ended up wasting two full days of our trip dealing with the aftermath—finding a new place to stay, washing and sanitizing all of our clothes and belongings, and trying to recover some peace of mind. It was incredibly stressful and not how anyone wants to spend their vacation.I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. The presence of bed bugs is a serious issue, and it’s clear that better maintenance and inspections should have been in place. Make sure to double-check recent reviews or reach out directly before booking here.
