My family stayed in this beautiful home for a weekend. It was very spacious and extremely clean. It had plenty of entertainment options for all ages. The host was very gracious and easy to contact. He even left a personalized note on the counter for us. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a nice little getaway!
The cabin was clean and nice with incredible views. Kids loved looking for and seeing animals. Several deer visited the property, but didn't get inside the fencing. Some of the furnishings are well used, but clean. The road leading to the cabin is a dirt road and fairly steep. Did not have any problems with getting there in my mini van, but it did make me a little nervous.
It had everything our family needed to enjoy a family holiday. The Host was fantastic at meeting our needs! We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We definitely would enjoy a return visit.
Enjoyed the house, loved the deck with the views and sounds of the valley, appreciated the multiple occasions of wildlife sightings. Very comfortable home.
Everything was perfect for our family reunion. The cabin was the perfect size and would've slept even more if needful. The location is beautiful overlooking Pine Valley. The kitchen had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. The pool table was a hit, as was the zipline. We will definitely be back!!
My family stayed here for the Ironman World Championship 70.3 in St. George. It was perfect for our needs. I will say the road to the house could be difficult for a sedan but my 4runner had no problem. Lots of wildlife. Woke up to deer, turkeys in the front yard. The house had a lot of space and it was nicely furnished. Loved the deck and the views. Owner was great in communicating and didn't expect significant cleaning to check out. Overall my family loved their stay here and I would stay here again.
We needed a break from the city and took a chance on Pine Valley... this cabin was perfect for our needs. We've got married kids with a granddaughter, college age kids and one teen - there was something for everyone. Plenty of space, we didn't once feel like we were crowded. Loved it!
This was a property that was well represented in the description! Perfect home for our family reunion/. Owners prompt and helpful! Definitely recommend this property!
We loved our stay in this beautiful Pine Valley cabin. It was very comfortable for our family of 7. The view is incredible. Be careful with the zip line, kids can possibly get hurt. It was a wonderful stay though. We will be back.
Location was great. Plenty of room and great views.

Perfect for a family getaway
The cabin was very comfortable and perfect for out little family reunion of my and my siblings' families. There was plenty for the kids to do, between the zip line, nearby hikes, pool table and volley ball net. We had a great time and will probably be booking again.

THE BEST VACATION HOME
This home is everything and so much more then what is described. I have rented 8 properties through VRBO and this was by far the best yet. My husband and I and our two little dogs stayed 8 nights this Sept and had the best vacation in years. So relaxing and fun. The views from the balcony were wonderful. If you are looking for a safe place for your canine companions this is it. Fully fenced back yard. We don't have young children or grandchildren but this is definitely a safe and fun property for them too! I highly recommend taking a look at this house. Very close to outdoor recreation. Pine Valley Recreation Area offers hiking, fishing, camping and picnicking. Wonderful time there too! We will be spending another vacation in Pine Valley in the future.
Thank you so much.

Fabulous
This home is beautiful and peaceful with the most stunning view off the back deck. The deer came up to the back fence and stayed awhile. There was a hummingbird feeder which we kept filled. At times there was at least a dozen little birds hovering around. We enjoyed watching them. The kids had so much fun with the zip line, pool table and large backyard. They want to go back next year for their vacation. This home lived up to everything mentioned in the listing description and more. Thanks for a great time.

About the host
Hosted by Steve Christensen
Steve and Denise moved to St. George in 1979 and have raised their family. They fell in love with Pine Valley shortly there after. In the summer still come up and fill up bottles with water as the mountain water tastes so good. After 25 years of saving and planning they built this cabin in 2004 for their family to have a place to get together and to enjoy the cooler mountain weather. It has evolved into a place of gathering for extended family, friends, and guests. They are excited to welcome others to enjoy what they have come to relish for the last 40 plus years.
Why they chose this property
This home is for single families in beautiful Pine Valley Utah, at about 7000 ft. It is surrounded by a few homes and forest property. Views from our back deck are gorgeous! Our place sets up on a hill with beautiful views of the valley with a green fenced back yard of grass and trees. There is a fishing lake and streams a mile away. Deer and turkeys are frequent visitors. There are trails for 4 wheelers and hiking and off road activities.
What makes this property unique
From the first time we saw the lot, the view, and felt the cool canyon summer evening breezes of Pine Valley, we knew this was the place. We built the cabin to maximize the views, made the grounds kid friendly with grass and games so ours kids and grand kids would enjoy what we had discovered. As we watch the wild turkeys strut by and the mule deer wander up and down the canyon we are grateful for the solitude and the beauty of the forest and still we are able to enjoy all the comforts of home.
