Our vacation rental is located in Ehlscheid, about 10 km from Neuwied and approximately 25 km from Koblenz.
Ehlscheid has a population of about 1,600 and is situated in the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park (365 m above sea level), 9 km from the A3 highway. The mild, invigorating climate is particularly effective in alleviating heart, circulatory, and respiratory ailments. The town has two restaurants, a café, as well as doctors, a therapy center, and a dentist. Fresh bread rolls and other bakery items are available in town. A supermarket, a discount grocery store, and a drugstore are located 2 km away.
The Ehlscheid spa facilities, featuring a barefoot trail and a foot bath, are the ideal starting point for tours through the beautiful Westerwald countryside. The Haus des Gastes, featuring public restrooms and a book exchange, is located in the middle of the spa park and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. When the weather is nice, visitors can also enjoy the terrace.
The Klosterweg, a certified premium hiking trail, runs right through the center of Ehlscheid. The challenging, approximately 320-kilometer-long Rheinsteig hiking trail, the Butterpfad, the Westerwaldsteig, and the Iserbachschleife are all nearby. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented in town. There is also a horseback riding stable in the immediate vicinity.
Motorcycle enthusiasts can enjoy extended rides through the charming, winding countryside. The Nürburgring is a worthwhile destination.
Thanks to its convenient location (80 km from Cologne, 120 km from Frankfurt), Ehlscheid is an ideal starting point for day trips. Trips to Koblenz (Deutsches Eck / aerial cableway—20 min.), Neuwied (zoo—10 min.), and, of course, the Rhine, Moselle, Lahn, and Ahr rivers are always highly recommended. Stay in the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley and book a cruise on one of the many boats, sail past the numerous castles, and make a stop in the romantic wine villages along the Rhine and Moselle.

Our vacation rental is a non-smoking unit and measures approximately 90 square meters. Pets are not allowed.
It is located on the cozy top floor and features a covered, furnished balcony measuring 10 square meters.
From here, you have a magnificent view of the Eifel.
The dining area features a large, extendable dining table and 6 chairs.
The kitchen is new and equipped with a ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.
The living area is cozy and features a large flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player.
Wi-Fi is available.
The bedroom is approximately 16 square meters and features a 2 x 2 m double bed.
Adjacent to it is the bright, spacious separate bathroom with a shower and toilet.



On-site costs: The first two nights cost a flat rate of €150.00 for 1–3 people. Each additional night costs €55.00 for 1–3 people. Bed linens, towels, and all applicable utilities are included.
