Overall a great property. We all loved it and the beach was enjoyable / not over crowded. It was mostly easy to locate points to watch both children effectively while in pool areas so they could do their own thing and not have to stay right beside each other just so I could watch them. Pool and beach area were clean and inviting. Super close to amusing points too...

The property itself was just right for our family vacation, and the owner accommodated our need for a later check-out time with so many little ones. The property manager came right away to fix the tv that wasn’t working. The only bother was that our phones would not dial out or text while in the room. It was weird. We couldn’t get the room phone to work either.

Value booking

If you are looking for an adorable unit with all the amenities of a more expensive condo, you found it. This unit is what you need and nothing more, nothing less. However, the pool space and access to the beach is perfect. Parking is easy in the garage as well. The pool deck has tons of gas grills that are available to use anytime you want! Grill tools are included in the unit as well. The pools are well cleaned and done well. Kids loved the ropes course/Lilly pad space. The Fudpuckers there on the deck is a nice touch as well. We didn’t utilize the face painting, hair braids and entertainment like that but it looked very cute. Those events are offered in the 12-2 ish time frame and we were always at the beach at this time. Speaking of the beach, the free beach service is no joke! Those guys work so hard and made it so nice for us. They even made us a custom sandcastle form, just for fun when they saw how into sandcastles our kids were. The beach service is totally free and paid for with your stay, no strings attached. The whole place was nice and clean when we arrived as well. Great communication through out our stay. There is actually a little more beach view than pictured, we thought. The right side of the stovetop of the oven didn’t work. Vacasa offered to fix right away but we didn’t want to hassle with it as we still had two working burners. We would definitely stay here again.

First time at Waterscape- First time VRBO- First time Vacasa

We took 2 adults, 1 teen, and one 5 year old. The condo was great, very clean, very big. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the appliances you could need, plenty of dishes/pans/utensils so that you didn't have to wash dishes frequently. There were plenty of pillows and the outside patio/balcony was large. You could see the dunes and the water from the patio. My little one liked having his own room with bunk beds and the teenager loved his big bed. The shower could easily have fit 4 people and the tubs were lovely soaking garden tubs. The mattresses were comfortable. We should have brought a few extra blankets. Check in/check out was a breeze and the front desk called to see if we needed anything. Beach chairs/umbrella were provided each day. Waterscape was very family oriented, family centric, with most groups being young families and grandparents. It has a very laid back atmosphere, non pretentious. Not a party place- not loud. The pools, lazy river, and splash pad were a hit with my boys, especially once we discovered one of the pools was heated. There was plenty of shade around the pool during varying parts of the day which is a big deal to us. The water was beautiful, the sand white and powdery. It was very easy to get from our room to the pool or beach quickly. No walking/lugging things long distances. We walked to AJ's Oyster shanty for dinner one evening, The Crab Trap for another. One thing to keep in mind is that Waterscape is affordable and popular so it was rather crowded during peak times of the day. Early morning was our favorite time to go to the beach and then the pool. It was never so crowded that all of the pool/beach chairs were taken but pretty close to that at 3pm. The pool area had some trouble keeping up with emptying the trashcans and picking up litter. We had a wonderful time at The Gulfarium. We will be back again!
